“When Desis Go To” Is Literally The Best Series And U Can’t Convince Me Otherwise

20 years later...

" When Desis go to Mars ! "

The "desi visits" series should never end!!🙌😭

I was invited to London to an academic conference for being shortlisted in an International Global Essay competition held by John Locke institute, and I'll most probably be visiting in October. This is a nice warmup! I am 17 and I am pretty excited, this will be my first international trip, and visiting Uni of Oxford and Cambridge has always been a dream. Keep up the good work !

A very much needed episode showing the reality of Britishers.

Hey Slayy Point,

I’ve been a loyal follower of your channel for a long time. I’ve watched your videos, liked, shared, and supported your growth. But right now, the student community in this country is going through a massive crisis, and your silence is hard to watch.

While thousands of students are out on the streets fighting for basic fairness and our right to a proper education system, you’re continuing your daily upload schedule like nothing is happening. We are the ones who built your platform. The majority of your audience consists of young people and students whose futures are currently hanging by a thread due to incompetent decision-making and poor leadership at the top.

It feels hypocritical to watch creators churn out content for views and brand deals while ignoring the very issue destroying the peace of mind of the people watching those videos. We don't expect you to solve the country's problems, but having a massive platform comes with a responsibility to raise awareness when your audience is suffering.

Using your voice right now matters more than any routine video or vlog. Stand with the students who made you who you are today. Speak up.

A concerned student.
