Norse God of War is next. What else would you like to see?

This dude literally watched two insanely long movies and pointed out mythical inaccuracies for us like a literal school assignment which is crazy. [In a good way] Show him some love!

Hel: "why am I depicted as the bad guy? I just rule hell"
Hades: "first time?"

The story that Thor shares of Loki turning into a snake then stabbing him was invented on stage by Chris Hemsworth

Fun Fact: in the comics, the original Ragnarok Storyline is MUCH darker and more serious than the film version. The story is much grander, and Thor actually DIES in that comic. I know he mainly talks about the films, but i feel like he should cover the comic version, too.

The funny thing is that supposedly in the second Doctor Strange movie Baldur was going to make a cameo, which means he isn’t dead and therefore Ragnorok shouldn’t have happened

Thor saying, "Oh my god." shows how much time he spent on Earth adopting their way of speaking.

Im learning norwegian,  and i think its kind of Hilarious that Mythology Hel's horse is called Helhest, as "Hest" literally just means "horse" meaning her horse is just "Helhorse"

Hel’s kind of busy sorting everyone that doesn’t end up in Valhalla or Fensalir, which is 99% of people. So yeah she’s got better things to do.

3:20 "I know this is gonna shock some people, but there wasn't actually any shake weights in Norse mythology." -The Mythology Guy in another timeline

6:16 Actually, it’s my understanding that like Hades, Hel is not the deity OF death but rather the “deity” that rules over THE dead.

can't wait for the Love and Thunder video where it just starts off with "I know this is probably gonna be a huge shock to you guys and you're gonna hate the ancients for this... but the Guardians of the Galaxy do not have any cameos in Norse Mythology."

3:29 I know this is gonna shock people but there were actually no plays of Thor and Loki being portrayed by Luke Hemsworth and Matt Damon in Norse mythology

According to my research (searching for answers in the comics), the Valkyrie appearing in this movie is named Brunhilde.

It's kinda weird how Infinity War is, in a way, a more accurate Ragnarok than Thor Ragnarok:

It starts off with Heimdall setting Thor on his quest, starting the war, though without sounding Gjallarhorn.
Loki's previous alliance with Thanos is like actual Loki's alliance with Surtr.
Thanos filling the Infinity Gauntlet is like Surtr forging his sword. Once they're done, everyone is screwed.
All the heroes joining in the battle is like the 9 realms joining in, especially if you count the portals in Endgame.
The battle ends tragically, with many superheroes (modern day Gods) having died.
Just like how Ragnarok is an end and a beginning, Infinity War leads into Endgame, restarting the war.

Still watching the video but loved the joke when you say “sorry marvel fans, but you’re not allowed to have fun” 😂😂

17:49 actually I think it was an improvised line. You can sort of tell by Loki and also from what you can hear about that line.

Fun fact, Fenris is what the wolf is called in Danish. It's basically just refered to as the Fenris Wolf, not so much it's name.
Also, there are some conflicting stories about who was Odin's firstborn. Some say it was Balder, but others state it was Thor.

Glad someone brought up Thor is God of THUNDER NOT LIGHTNING
Felt like I was going insane when I read Norse myths and he didn't use lightning but made giant THUNDEROUS bellows and slams

Hel being their sister? Fine, whatever. Fenrir just being her pet? Sure, whatever. Not including Jormungandr? I cannot forgive
