I’ve got an old CA M16A2 that came from a UK prop house. Same company that did work on Green Zone, Blood Diamond and Black Hawk Down. No idea if it was used in any of those movies but super cool to have anyway.

I was a Navy Seabee for 20 years. We were issued M16A2E3 which were full auto, we never had M16A3. I think those were mostly issued to Air Force. They were a blast at the range when we had extra rounds to get rid of. After I retired, they started issuing M4A1 full auto. Cheers!

yeah so this is why i went to VFC’s GBBR lineup and never looked back…

the M16A2 did indeed have a full auto option, I used it myself in the Greek military. I remember the inscription on the gun was "M16A2 enhanced" though, probably a special upgrade for certain militaries

I've had no issues with the double bell A2, brought it to 2 milsims and it ran great, really an underrated gun

4:50 all M16s have a triangular handguard cap. Only carbines have circular handguard caps

Solid looking ❤❤

Good to see a m16a2

Hello mate. Great video, I accidentally spotted it. I only wanted to say that the first M16A2 was made with full-auto instead of burst, the so-called Colt model 701. I know that because I'm currently working on my line of airsoft replicas made according to original blueprints. Have a nice day)

I got the same e&c m16a2 but with “burst” instead of “auto”

The 2nd generation gun rivalry of the cold war the choice lies in your hands of which is better

The M16A2 or the AK74

If you want more realism from this replica, play with precocking and set it to 3-round burst (since you said that this is one of defining features of this M16). I also suspect that it has a quick-change spring system.
Also, if you manage to fit a real stock onto it - I want to see that video
:)

Yeah that auto on it is a shame. A little detail that does so much. I have the E&C M16A3 with M203 grenade launcher. It does not have a mosfit.

My M16A2 from E&C has "burst" on it, strange

@sike3000 11 months ago

my first airsoft gun back in 2010 was the G&G GR16A2 "Plastica" and it was amazing, i deeply regret selling it

@AusteyrEF 11 months ago

E&C do also have a burst marked lower for A2’s

@jacoblucas4259 11 months ago

Went on a very similar journey as you when I got my A2. I believe I nabbed one without trades, which annoyingly seems to also mean the font on the fire selector markings is wrong. I threw real handguards on mine as well and that really does make all the difference. It performs great, that's for sure.

Love the look of this gun. Am always on the lookout for G&P/Cybergun M16A1, A2, or M733 or CAR-15 Airsoft Replicas. Shame that they are always out of stock on my main site for Airsoft (Evike).
