no way jaeger reviewing a gun i can actually afford?

I think it's about time for wood furniture

The N23 is one of my favorite meme-guns out of the "80s"

CGS teardown when? I really want to see an in depth internal. People really hars with this platform in the internet but these looks very solid to me. No zet plate so what if it works? Please make a teardown 🙏.

I got my 733 . Didn't realize that they shipped with the lightning series bolts that are aluminum so I've been running my steel bolt from my mk18 and I love the kick. Been performing nicely and love the simple retro aesthetic. Have mine done in a blood dimond style. I'm not a fan of the lightning series parts with the aluminum bolt and plastic buffer. So I've set those aside as my "winter" bolt and buffer. And I've been rocking the metal buffer with steel bolt. Using all cgs parts. And mine has been pretty consistent only thing I can think of is the system doesn't like shooting below 1j as I'm in the US and have a 1.42j limit at the field I play at. But I can agree the hop sistem is kinda crap I don't mind the tool part since I have short fingers and need a flat head to adjust my hop in my salvo while keeping assembled. Cgs hop just doesn't have a fine adjustment would be a lot better if it was more precise

I bought the Colt M723 and I don't regret buying it, I just changed the light bolt and it's wonderful

Merry Christmas 🎄

Chocolate chip camp would be dope

You can put a little piece of ris rail with a clamp under the front sight attached on the barrel. I did also with my xm177. I run a light that can be mounted in a angle. And i have the light switch on top of the handguard. Also have a old looking supressor with quick release.

It's 80’s looking... make it  have Miami tiger stripe wit one of them lights you bolt to the front post sight

With my CGS M4A1, I had to replace the feedlips on my Tm mags with GM lips to run it without murdering my nozzle in 5-10 shoots. Before mag update, it would feed tm mags  okay in a slow controlled shooting, but immediately died under fast, in-game shooting.

Now, it feeds perfectly and its been a beast. I was going to replace the bucking to a 4uad, but its been working so well i no longer want to touch it. I started my gbbr joruney with a TM mws, still have it, and ive run at least 2 gbbrs from most of the brands minus KWA other MWS clones. but the CGS is blowing my mind in my case.

Clean it and the Gry up, maybe take apart the nozzle and put it back togther with minimal lube and see if that changes any of the inconsistency issues.

I love this one, from what I remember, the gun is a CAR-15 and if you number each letter in the alphabet, W=23 so you got N23 -> NW = Never Was. It was just a wacky patent Colt had but never made, someone decided to make it for fun but it's just made to look like a 60's-70's gun but are fairly new, like 5-6 years I think 🤔

It may just be their Lightning series that are wacky. Because any of their steel bolts have been solid. But since seeing you do two back to back Lightning series cgs with the same issues then that narrows it. I’m sure if you checked out another one of their mk18 or even the pdw tell be solid

So all I did to my cgs urgi was 1) replaced the hop-up bucking 2) refreshed lube. By the way I've heard that you can use mws bolt in cgs without any changes... At least in some cases they are similar (but you can't use mws trigger box with cgs bolt because bolt catch won't work)

merry Christmas guys

Maybe a colt doe 9mm build with this.

3d printed doe hangaurd and a airtac mp5 mag adapter.

N23 actually stands for NW (W is the 23rd letter of the alphabet) and stands for the Never Was 😄

There's an article from years ago describing the build. It's an awesome concept and Colt probably did experiment with insanely short barrel lengths during the Vietnam War, but it's kinda useless in reality!

My Cgs hk416 also comes with their lightning series aluminum bolt, but mine runs well and have consistent power out put

It will run with tm bolt + tm lower, same goes to tm upper + t8 bolt & lower

The hop unit is less than desirable, but I change the bucking to km blue ones and they are working a lot better now, but not on marui with km bucking good, close but not there yet

Overall quite happy with it and will buy their XM16E1 for Vietnam collection
