So Justin Baldoni allegedly asked his trainer how much Blake weighed because he has a history of back problems in addition to needing to be able to lift her for a scene.
Maybe, as a fat person, my standards for "fat shaming" are a little steep, but if someone were to lift me in the air, I'd want them to know what they're in for.

"Little bump" has always been a term of endearment. Anyone that gets offended by it shouldn't leave their house.

Celebrities: they’re not our friends.

You need to update this with EVERYTHING we’ve learned 👀

I am a chubby person, that being said if my acting partner asked me how much I weigh so that they could protect their back, I will gladly tell them. That's not fat shaming! It's being responsible.

"your little bump" is an extremely common British-ism for pregnancy. It's considered a polite way to say congratulations on your pregnancy.

I'm getting real sick of celebrities getting a free pass for being intolerable just because they're a celebrity.

Even in the 90s, Julia Robert’s responses during her interviews for her movie Sleeping with the Enemy had so much more class and respectfulness for DV victims and their situations. I’m curious what makes Blake Lively feel above responding with sincerity??

I loved that TikTok video where the woman goes “Imagine if other films followed Blake’s approach to promote a movie. Grab all your Gal Pals ladies, because we’ve got a bunch of hot guys on a French Beach and they are all searching for Matt Damon, it’s SAVING PRIVATE RYAN!!!” 😂

I heard that that interviewer also has knowledge of historical fashion, so her asking about their wardrobe was personally interesting to her.

It’s giving: “congratulations on your bundle of joy!” “My baby is not a bundle!!!” Ma’am, calm down

The punishment doesn't match the crime? She tried to weaponise Me Too to steamroll a much less famous actor, and turned a movie about DV into a launchpad for her shitty brand. She deserces to be cancelled off the face of the planet.

Edit: ok, you came around 😂

Certified Disability Rehabilitation Couselor here.  Baldoni needed the weight information to determine if the stunt was plausible independently or if he needed to utilize an accommodation. This is logical for most grown adults of a certain age, but even more cruicial considering his history of back issues. It's a basic safety concern. Nothing we've seen of his character has indicated he would have used this information maliciously against Lively. Although there is a lot of nuance in the details of the circumstance that would influence ant legal determination, there is a plausibility that the consequences of her reaction  could potentially count as disability discrimination.

The PR team is not making her look bad…she done that to herself

10:20 No one is asking her to be somber and sad.  But she could try being a little sincere and respectful. The director of this movie is a great example of that. He was so genuine and  respectful towardsthe topic and shed light on it witbout being a moody dark cloud.

I need 5 months later Jaimie to chime in like yesterday 😅

Being mad that a man with back problems who's supposed to be lifting you for wanting to know your weight is the same level of dumb as being mad at your climbing partner for asking the same. It's a question of safety.

The DIRECTOR/male lead had the right idea of how to discuss such a serious topic. He was trying to convey the RIGHT message.

The movie is an insult to every victim who’s ever been in a domestic violent relationship it’s absolutely unrealistic
