Can the main conflict of a rom com PLEASE be ANYTHING other than a misunderstanding or overhearing something out of context?? It is literally the easiest fix. TALK.
“Hey why’d you say that?” Can go a really long way.

I watched this movie on one of the worst days of my life. But the movie was so bad that it distracted me from the overwhelming emotional pain. So, in a way, I will always be grateful for this movie because it is so incredibly terrible that it will make you forget your own problems for an hour and a half.

I asked my brother in law his thoughts on this movie and he said “the second half is a lot of people getting in and out of water” and that was all he had to say about that.

I'm honestly tired of the enemies to lovers trope. I just want to see people who actually like each other and are nice to each other for once.

My husband asks why I'm so picky with movies and I tell him that my free time is important to me and I don't want to waste it on a crummy movie. I told him that the likelihood of it being bad is high these days

Ok but IMAGINE this from the brides POV. Your fiancés dropout sister and a friend of your brothers show up, light your fiancés hair on fire, refuse to act cordial, jump off your yacht, have to be rescued by the coast guard and then the sister ruins the wedding by LEAVING bc the guy kisses his ex and then comes back and takes over the first dance..

Also why is the family treating the sister of the bride and the friend of the brides brother with equal weight? Like if he was causing issues he’d be asked to leave?? He is not even related to anyone there 😭🤦🏼‍♀️

These writers definitely think awkward, uncomfortable and bizarre is the same thing as funny or entertaining

The two worst things a romcom can be is boring and your leads having no chemistry, this is that movie.

the hyper sexualization of Sydney Sweeney no matter the movie genre needs to be studied

I groomed a dog named "Prozac" back in the day. She said she struggled with depression really bad, but the Prozac her doctor put her on didn't help much. Then she found this tiny little puppy who gave her the spark of joy she needed. This one little dog gave her something to wake up to, look forward to, to love and love her, so it gave her life meaning. So, she called it Prozac. I always thought it was pretty sweet.

Just FYI, I am snuggled in bed, and now excitedly rubbing my feet together like a cricket in anticipation for this video.

While it is SO overused in movies, I can definitely say there are people who are scared of good things, especially good feelings. It can stem from trauma and/or abuse

RIP Shakespeare, you would've hated Anyone but You (but you would've loved 10 Things I Hate About You and She's The Man, so it's fine, I guess)

@sylvrtygr93 1 year ago

I didn’t realize until you said “Ben and Bea” that this is just Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.

13:44 This scene isn’t even realistically logical lol. So she sneaks out of his apartment while he’s still half asleep on the couch. And in the time it takes her to get up the block, call her friend, and run back to his apartment…he’s already gotten up, presumably taken a shower, changed his clothes, gotten on the computer to work, and have his friend stop by. All of that in what seems like no more than a five minute window 😂
