The diesel crisis has become so great that many fishermen are changing the way they fish to reduce fuel consumption. In some cases, they stop going altogether. In this video, I sit down aboard my lobsterboat to have a candid discussion about the current state of things and how the $6 diesel price is impacting my small business. Our margin, which was already razor thin, has been completely erased and I am choosing not to fish as frequently until things change.
