These men are making it very difficult to be civil with them in public. I am getting so freaking tired of them..and I am getting tired of the men who stay silent.
Its scary how much lack of privacy we have now. When I am out of my home, I operate like I am always being filmed. From Ring Cameras, to Dash Cameras, street cameras, cellphone cameras, etc...and now glasses. Its sad.
I had a physician wear a pair coming into an elderly friends doctors appointment. I had to explain to her what they were. It was very uncomfortable, but he did remove them when she asked. My point is⦠It shouldnāt have been an issue. A doctor shouldnāt be filming their patients without previous knowledge and signed consent Well before the doctor enters the room.
I'm getting tired of Zuckerberg's weird obsession with spying on people and invading our privacy. He actually thinks that because he's in the spotlight it means everyone else has to be. Now he's enabling creeps to be even creepier.
Just a note to the women saying they are wearing these for safety: Meta is sending footage over to a company in Kenya so it can be categorised and sorted for AI training. This means that Meta and this company and their workers have access to personal and intimate information, for instance your loved ones faces, your banking details, etc. There is genuinely no upside to this technology whichever way people try to slice it.
Edit: it captures sound too so goodbye to any assumed privacy in that regard. It all belongs to Meta and its subcontractors.
What's stopping these people from recording children in their vulnerable state, in the home:body-blue-raised-arms::body-blue-raised-arms::body-blue-raised-arms::body-blue-raised-arms:
I was in DC for a day trip, and a man with Meta Glasses approached me. He told me that if I wore looser jeans, I could lose weight because I would have more bowel movements.
I just stared at him and said, āThank you.ā He got quiet and then emphasized his point.
Honestly, we should be as strict as Dubai is with public recording
