LIKE AND HYPE THE VIDEO IF YOURE ON MOBILE!!!!
did you ever use miiverse ? let me know...
check mii out @ https://chillysu.net

I remember when I was 8 and I drew a heart saying “it’s all about me!” on miiverse and someone in the comments compared it to the assassination of Ramesses III

Miiverse was a fascinating experiment.

I love seeing old Miiverse posts, it's either genuine discussion around games, general posts, or the most unhinged insane posts I've ever seen on a social media platform.

Anyway, I give this video a +Yeah!

Honestly, I wish I was there during this period. The 3ds period just seemed like such a cool time to be apart of

the miiverse stage in smash was genuinely UNHINGED, legendary matches were on that stage

when i was in middle school, i used to communicate to my bff whenever were away because of social anxiety.
the miiverse somehow brought them and I together and continued to talk more😅
but, since were now adults, we talk rarely. (family and mental issues, mainly)
i brought out my 3DS and saw their account online, and wanted to try using the miiverse one final time..but it was sadly shutdown.

rip miiverse, you helped me overcome my social anxiety.
 you'll never be forgotten.😔

i appreciate you talking about the final hours of miiverse, it was never easy to let go a piece of mii history💚

I never experienced miiverse but I’ve seen so many videos about the magic of it, it looked amazing to be apart of

didnt get to experience miiverse for too long only having used it for the first time like 4 months prior to the shutdown but i still miss it honestly

WE ARE SO BACK PRIME CHILLY IS HERE

2:43 i distinctly remember playing as fox on the miiverse stage and seeing a drawing of an arwing hitting the twin towers with the words "star fox did 7/11"

Is beautiful prime chilly is BACK

I always went to my cousins house to play mk8 and they would have friends on miiverse, sucks that it had to die

Good lord, Miiverse. How I miss this place. I used to draw there under a different alias! The YouTube Community (despite the rest of the odd people there), Legend of Zelda Community, and the various Pokemon communities had some of the best artists I've seen around, and it was always a treat to see their posts from time to time.

I still remember my time with the redesign. There were many people in the old Wii Fit U Community who were pretty upset about it. There was quite a commotion regarding people "never coming back" because of the redesign, but most of them eventually returned after a week, up to a month, later. Quite a few of them actively tried to ban themselves though, and I respect them for trying. I don't know whether any of the banned people came back under a different alias.

The 30 post limit had a lot of very active users make alt accounts to circumvent it. Some were even asking their Miiverse friends who owned a Wii U to make a new account for them, which was risky due to the possibility of them committing console bans. This limit was also there to curb all the roleplaying that was happening on certain communities. It sucked for a lot of people, but I can't imagine how it was like for those engaging in RPs. This, alongside the comment limit going down from 1000 to 100, really hurt them.

4:38 With regards to why the New Super Luigi U Community didn't transition over to the redesign, it's a sub community. Communities designated as "sub communities" (New Super Luigi U Community for New Super Mario Bros U Community) and "Special Communities" (Like the Legend of Zelda Community) retained their old design, for some reason. Most people who came from the off topic Wii Fit U community took shelter in the Legend of Zelda Community for a few days after the redesign, before most of us moved over to the New Super Luigi U Community as our new home.

On the topic of sub communities, there was a goldmine of sub communities within the Wii Sports Club community that was discovered about a year after the redesign. There were almost no activities in these sub communities, so it was the perfect place for the off topic people to move to. Some of them claimed certain sub communities, but the biggest community in there was the Panama Club all the way until the shutdown. Sometimes I'd go between these two communities, forgetting just how different the current New Super Luigi U Community was compared to Panama Club's vibe of the old Wii Fit U Community. The people of the Panama Club moved to Google+ under a slightly different name, and eventually Discord. Not sure what happened to the last remaining people there though, the server is invite only.

There's quite a small history post-shutdown outside of Archiverse and Pretendo's Juxtaposition. I wasn't involved in these though, so I don't remember much of them. A few Miiverse clones popped up near the shutdown and post-shutdown under PF2M, but unfortunately they've all closed down since and won't come back.

Miiverse was certainly an experience you could never find anywhere else, and I'm glad to have been part of it! Part of me wonders if there are anyone from the old offtopic communities who are still on Juxtaposition?

Wake up yall new chilly vid dropped

Good ol' Pretendo and its back on
