Kawasaki not putting a temp gauge is like Adam taking a KLR to the outback without swapping tires or footpegs or putting on Barkbusters. Confidence level: Legendary

FINALY IVE WAITED FOR THIS MOMMENT EVER SINCE I FOUND THIS CHANNEL!! 1 year ago. I drive a Gen 1 KLR and its the bike I started and learned on and I have to say with that bike and this channel i grown to love that bike and the freedom of adventure riding, and Im only 17 and may have only drivin 20ks but it feels like an eternity and feeling that will never end.

I'm 72 now, quit riding at 50 and bought a 22 KLR last year to begin riding again. Wanted a low horse goat and I got just what I wanted. Yeah it's heavier than anything I've ridden before but it's more stable than I thought it could be. Moto camping in the western US of A is awesome no matter what vehicle I do it in or on.
The KLR effect is real!

My first (and current) bike is a KLR. For the past 46k miles I've put on her, I can't really complain about too much. Basic, but great bike. Her name's Jackie because she's a jack of all trades and a master of fun.

Awesome to see Rem on her CRF in this one. She is at the opposite end of the riding spectrum to Adam, but her passion is just as strong.

Smart move by you and Kawasaki to improve the profile of the brand and to also get more people into adv riding on any budget.
I’ve learned through my experience that it’s 99% the rider and 1% the bike. The more that this video get people into enjoying Adv riding the better.

The trick with the KLR is that hurrying around makes for bad experiences… take your time, smell the flowers enjoy the ride!

It's nice to see REM and her father getting a little attention in this too. She's doing so well. And seeing Adam on a KLR, who would have ever thought to see that. and then to see what you pull of with this bike is just another proof that with skill you can take whatever and have just as much fun as with maybe the lighter and more horsepower bikes. that beast hasn't changed much through all it's years but it has it's place

i know this is an old video.. but i saw a solo KLR 650 rider riding through wombat state forest a few weeks ago. I had my new tenere with all the recommended mods. a friend on his 450 enduro brand new. this guy was just crushing it.takes a different breed to buy a KLR. respectable who doesn't care about stats. just in it for the adventure. what a bloke

Only 6 minutes in and there you go riding past my farm. About as close to famous as I’ll get! Good to see others enjoying our roads and tracks and the KLR seems to be getting the job done.
