EXE nerd here, ts so fucking peak. A Final Escape mix from an EXE mod that wasn't cancelled. With elements from Manual Blast with all the assets deleting themselves as the song goes on. The "Press Space to Jump" just...not working to fuck with the player. All the exes from the trying to escape the end of the song but falling. The sequence of BF drowning ending with something wholesome, SpongePhanes isn't a bad guy. He just wanted to create. You get a montage of bro just putting up concept art, ideas, pictures of all he's planning for the mod. And when you get to the final chase sequence, riding on his brother's BoatMobile, Phanes is...crying. He doesn't want this to end, he wants to keep creating, sharing, doing what he loves, but things are ending and he doesn't want it to go yet. But once we get right to him and Phanes is at his lowest, we just...start creating with him. No health bar, no conflict, just the two of us having fun.

This mod was exceptional, some of the best .exe content ever produced from FNF, and it didn't take itself half as seriously as the ones who came before. This mod made all the hate I get for just liking this niche part of the community worth it. It felt like a love letter to every major creepypasta mod that came from this fandom. Sonic.exe, Hypno's, Mario's Madness, and probably many more I missed through my 3-4 binge of the mod with my friends on a discord call(I still find it crazy that one song took my Discord profile picture and used it in the sprites, holy shit how did you even code that???).

Thank you for the song. Good luck on what all you guys do next.

I once asked an old man while hiking how long it would take to reach the top of a mountain, he told me “Corre Corre Que Te Pillo.” And that’s when I realized we were already at the peak.

what i love about Spongephanes is that on some level, he's still spongebob. he's not some demonic horror taking spongebob's form. he's spongebob AS a demonic horror. He's childish, he's clingy, he's emotional and he doesn't want the fun to end and through that he's surprisingly sympathetic for an antagonist in a exe mod, and especially a joke mod where they didn't even need to put much of any effort into the story

I love how we were meant to think Spongephanes was evil, but all along, he was just a sweet little child! I’m just happy this song shows he didn’t actually die in Pool Parti.

Having David Hasselhoff is such a reference. Best song in this mod.

I love how among all of the falling bobs, you can see some carrying others (SpongeBob Balloon carrying Fatal Bob, Ketchup forcefully grabbing onto Fleetway Bob, etc), but you can also see Xeno- sorry, LUIS falling because he's in the mod too.
Xenop- FUCK. LUIS is literally the one nobody invited.

i love how bfs icon went to fearful to concern and so as spongphanes getting more distraught when he realizes bf is escaping his games

bro this had me feeling genuinely sad for spongephanes I had genuine smile when it ended with both of em just drawing together

finally, a peak ending that doesnt require BF to die or defeat the big bad

i think its genuinely really beautiful that a parody mod's finale was not slandering the tropes and song types its parodying but instead sort of an encouragement  and celebration of them
the last song of the parody mod is a happy compiliation and callback to everything it's poking fun at and it's celebrating the many more mods to come

it doesn't send itself off by having tjhe main antagonist end up defeated or imprisoned, it doesn't send itself off with a massive, dramatic bang, it sends itself off by literally handing the pencil to the player, encouraging them to make their own dorky mods

beautiful shit my mans, peak cinema

I love Spongephanes is not basically "WAHAHAHA I AM GOD!!! HAHAHA!!!" he is "HAHAHAHA MY GAME IS SO FUNNY! DON'T LEAVE!!" but BF try to leave there He became nervous, And in end WAAAAOOOO I REAAALLLY LOVE THE END!

3:45  this whole part went hard, you can hear it in his voice that he knows the song is ending soon

…. beautiful. Like actually, Spongephanes is just a child, which explains why the whole vibe of the mod is inspired by other media's, because hes just a child having fun

What I love about this is that he’s still SpongeBob, just evil and scary looking

Genuinely one of the best Final Escape takes and finales in an FNF mod and it's for a 'joke mod'. This mod is what the original Vs. EXE wanted to be to me. It's one of the most heartfelt love-letters to FNF and it's entire community, parodying like every well-known genre that's been in the community ever since 2021, and it does it so well. It's label as a 'joke mod' and the idea of it matching in quality of the bigger, hyped up mods that tend to be cancelled says a lot of things about the passion went into this mod for me.

I said something similar on the GameBanana comment section and the CommunityGame video, but this mod seems to tell you that you don't need to have something hyped-up, or intensely serious or high in quality, but instead, you need passion and love to make something that really stands out.

I've been into FNF since it first came out, and seeing this giant celebration of it's past slapping like 5-or-6 years of FNF fandom stuff in your face is something so different/it's a breath of fresh air. A mod that isn't cancelled, celebrating mods, especially some with reputations for canceling and controversies, and telling you that you too can make your own thing.

SpongePhanes as a character seemingly representing someone who wants to make a mod, too, really sells that idea of 'you can make your own thing'. This mod was insane, and insanely peak at every turn, and I was super happy playing it blind. I think this is one of the best mods to ever come out in the entirety of FNF's history. (I'm lowk glazing HARDDD, but it's for a good reason.)
Congratulations to you and all of Bikini Horror's devteam!

Long live Spongephanes and his minions!

out of all the songs to be put out by this community, it was somehow this one.

in a weird way it felt like a gateway into how i was when i started to take art seriously (which was due to vanilla friday night funkin' funnily enough lol). i would take concepts from all sorts of mods (i.e. vs tricky, sonic.exe, vs impostor) then draw my friends and i's characters over them, all for a laugh and to show appreciation for all that nonsensical crap we were playing at the time. i don't know much about phanes here, but it definitely looks like he's doing exactly that, he's just a creative bob pulling from everything he likes and having fun with it. i only realize now how much i miss doing that, i subconsciously phased that side of myself out for original creations, all of which i'm very proud of and content with, but the dumb fun of drawing my friends and i over a bunch of exe mod songs was lost in that process. thank you spongephanes for making me realize how formative those times were for me, i cherish them far more now than i ever did before.

this entire mod team is sick in the head for making feel maternal for this critter. i teared up over and heavily relate to him do you know how fucked up that is

i saw some gameplay of the mod, and i just wanted to say that i actually really adore how this song ends.

the big bad just being someone who wanted to create and share what they made is honestly refreshing. and it ending with him being encouraged to create is really sweet.

genuinely a good mod all around.

This mod was one of the best things to come from the community, and it was an honour to be watching from the start.

This mod has gone from "Oh hey, Too Slow Spongebob mix," to something I can put alongside other classic mods.

And the music is also peak. I love it all.

I was completely paralyzed from the neck down, but this song made me get out of bed and stand by the window, light a cigarette and think about life, thank you.

love the detail that horror bob and hypno bob are the last two to be deleted because theyre spongephanes's brothers
