Hello I worked on this.....................

I love how Spongebob's vocals become more high pitched at the end, it sound likes he's about to cry.

"maybe it's the way you're dressed" said patrick, before getting twisted into bubbles

I love how this is a polar opposite of most Aethos-likes. The character with the burn on their face usually has evil intentions, but Spongebob is the exception. He doesn't feel malicious, or even have any sort of vengeance. At the end of the day, he's still Spongebob, and he just wants to see Patrick again.

For a joke mod, this is pretty deep

Honestly, Patrick dying for (or ig from) pie is pretty clever and also explains the burn area on spongebob. This is as clever as twiddlefinger, if not more smarter and goes as hard

" SpongeBob, this may not have been your intention... But the reality is, you are the one who set it in motion. "

"What if the bubbletwisters were the friends we made along the way!"
"Aw shucks, i feel a song coming on!"
They all jump in the air and freeze frame while ocean man plays

If there is something in which the "Aethos" songs commonly fail, it is in the lyrics, which, although it is the main focus of the song, does not always connect with the melody of the song or the intonation of the character.

So I never imagined that one of the few exceptions would be a semi-parody of Twiddlefinger with SpongeBob, its lyrics are truly glorious.

Mocking Aethos would be like: "With the pain my soul suffers for losing you and letting you go, my heart bursts with suffering, dear friend, I ask your forgiveness for not having saved your life"

Spongebob: What if I break your trust someday?
Patrick: Trusting you is my decision, proving me wrong is your choice.

Favorite line.

So i assume the story here goes as follows:
Patrick somehow gets his hands on one of the explosive pies from "Dying For Pie", and he either died after eating it (most possible cause) or crushing it into something, exploding on the process. It is emphasized that SpongeBob had something to do with the incident, perhaps giving Patrick the pie before he knew of its lethality or something like that. Bob ends up depressed, blaming himself for the event and trying to seek forgiveness after his friend's death. Hoping to see him once again.

Also, i like the fact that the mark on SpongeBob's head doesn't follow the cliché of “evil” or “crazy” who decides to kill everyone, like most Aethos-style songs. Rather, it's just a burn from the explosion, and represents nothing more than a scar from the incident that haunts him.

This genuinely might be my favourite Aethos type song. Love how it's actually unique too. R.I.P Subaru 💔

Not even one note in
"Its fucking twiddlefinger."
"YOU REALIZE THAT NOW?!"

I honestly cannot get the idea out of my head that 4:12 on Subaru’s side is the Snowdin Town/Hopes and Dreams motif, which would kinda fit with Subaru’s voice sounding like sans

4:23 the ending is........ beautiful 🥹

long lore short:
it's dying for pie, except spongebob gives patrick the pie instead of keeping it, so patrick eats it, the pie explodes, killing patrick and wiping out nearly all bikini bottom, and spongebob is coping with it

3:39 I… I have no words this is genuinely the most beautiful ending to an FNF song I’ve ever seen bravo… just bravo

This song genuinely had me in tears of how beautiful and sad this is 😭
