There will NEVER be another Jack Benny in every way; he was the Best. He still lives in the hearts of those who are still alive today.

We dont have awesom humor, like this anymore. SO FUNNY !

"Call her up....CALL up your wife..." :) Jack got a LOT of mileage over this line!

This particular Jack Benny show is an all time classic Jack was as effective on tv as he was on the radio and visa versa.

There's Mr. Wilson from Dennis the Menace, played by Joseph Kearns.

Jack was comedy genius!

Thank you Sir...

They to had clever and memorable lines because no swearing involved good creative and writing and mel blanc so wonderful all cartoons amazing person

So nice to hear Dennis sing; what a pure voice talent!  Always enjoy the panel discussions too who give such unknown credit to Jack and his team.

Different times and morals

Rochester indeed WAS on the radio program!

Leroy Shields didn't get much credit for his work on the music for Hal Roach shorts until the 1990s.

Thanks for sharing this Buck.

America ruled

It's a shame that the sound on this episode is so choppy. With Jack's delivery, some of his words get squelched. :(
It's a poor attempt to 'eliminate' background noise, unfortunately, it eliminates some dialog as well.

Do people in the US still say 'gesundheit' when someone sneezes? I remember that from my childhood, but I have the feeling people don't say it anymore.

Didn't Sheldon Leonard do the crook at one point?
