Joe Besser is always a treat. He was a few years removed from his stint  on Abbott and Costello, and just before becoming curly Joe on the Three Stooges and a few years prior to his featured role on the Joey Bishop show.

Parsimonious, now that's a word I'd never heard before. Leave it to Mary to say it. I like the song they sing.

HIIIIIYAAAA, Buck!  I love this one because it's so rare to see one of The Three Stooges (Joe Besser) play a more or less straight part.

Eddie Anderson.Rochester

Bob Crosby is still no Phil Harris, but he' bettr than usual in this one.

Great  Black  Male  Actors.

Joe " The Stooge " Besser All -Time Stooge.😊

Eddie "Rochester" Anderson played a part no different from Sebastian Cabot's on "Family Affair," with one possible exception: Cabot's "Mr. French" was far more subservient.  No one accused Cabot of being a stereotypical British butler.  Mr. Anderson was one of the major actors in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World," ironically, Jack Benny only had a small cameo.  You mention Amos and Andy, while the radio show was racist, the television show actually portrayed black judges, lawyers, and doctors.  Andy and the Kingfish were no different than Ed Norton and Ralph Kramden.
