I love comparison videos like this. There's so many videos on YouTube about badge engineering but when you can actually get the real cars in front of you and see little differences and trim and color choices and material choices, it starts to become blatantly apparent that they did not change much. I have to say April you really do your homework on this stuff. And it shows. I don't know what your title is but I would say Automotive investigative journalist.❤
I'd just like to point out almost nothing made in the 1980s looked this good by the mid 2000s unless it had been re-painted and re-upholstered. These are still handsome daily drivers.
I was at the Orlando International Auto Show in the early 2000’s and as I walked by the SAAB display, there was a giant wall with a picture of a fighter pilot in a plane cockpit with the helmet visor down, and the caption read: “SAAB 9-7X Born From Jets” I remember saying to myself, who are they fooling!!!! That SUV is born from a TRAILBLAZER!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The SAAB is way better looking, inside and out, and it's super cool because of the fact it's a Trailblazer SS that you don't have to park in a mobile home complex.
My sister is in her early 70's and still has her first year, second generation, Bravada. She likes the thing and always has. Several years ago her husband talked her into trading it for a new BMW SUV. The deal was made and my sister said to the salesman that she hoped they found the Bravada a good home. He replied, "THAT will never go on our lot, it will be wholesaled"! My sister replied that he was correct, the Bravada would not go on their lot because the deal was off. She still has the Bravada and she really hasn't had any issues with it.
I have a Black 1996 Bravada, with charcoal leather. 227k miles. I just changed the oil, and redid the rear brakes. I love it. It's my winter, and boat tow rig.
