Been looking forward to this one for a while! Hope you enjoy it and let me know where I should do next month! Wagamama's or Nando's?

I read online there is a toby carvery iceland range now... So... Will you sacrifice yourself to try it for us?

Probably the most Beige food taste test of all time

Sam you should do a week on not bying any food as I think atm with the price of food going up and your freezer filling up. Call it freezer and cupboard clearcut.

This could be a fun comparison series - how does the branded food compare to in store at places like Leon, Greggs, harry Ramsden, etc? There's even smaller places like pieminister or jolly hog.

We used to go to TGIs fairly often.
Until 1 day it just didn't taste as good, and when the bill came it was like twice as much!! I don't think we went back after that

I'd love a Wagamama challenge! Their wok fried greens are amazing... in fact, everything there is amazing!

This is actually crazy in America our tgifridays frozen meals are all basically appetizers not anything like these steaks and pizza’s I’d love to try them

Reily is a beutiful dog looks like she is a gentle treat taker too

Honestly me and my boyfriend watch you always at dinner and your videos are so good. You should deffo do nandos. Or frozen fast food items like maccies and KFC knock offs from lidl or aldis that would be fun to watch!

❤❤

The interaction with you and the Iceland checkout worker was so relatable 🤣 I'm always thinking of 101 things at once and someone is being nice and catches me unawares it throws me too 🙃 Ps loved the video and next time I'm near an Iceland I'm buying those ribs!

I’m halfway through and there’s been no mention of Food Warehouse! It’s Iceland but with quadruple the choice.

How about a ‘72 hours on Iceland Luxury range’ challenge?

You're living your best life, this is what dreams are made of! Congratulations!

I think the rules for a future one have to be to match the serving suggestion - ie the picture on the box. So burgers can also have whatever else is in the picture (lettuce, tomato or whatever).

I visited london two years ago in autumn. Was my first time in england. (Had visited edinburgh a few years earlier) and decided to try Nando's with my brother. And i must say. It was really quite good. He had lemon pepper and i tried the Nando's peri peri one. So would be very interested to see an authentic brit's take on Nando's

Interesting comparison between Frozen and restaurants (defrosted?). No wonder TGI is in trouble. It might bankrupt you but I think you should do both Nando and Wagamama. Your next one after those could  be greasy spoons, motorway service stations or high street independent cafes.

Mmmmmmm Tornado Seasoning…. Lolz 🤣

From what friends have told me (I can not give a first hand account, because there was no TGIs near my home or place of work), the food started out as delicious. This, coupled with the popularity and atmosphere of the experience was the main factor in creating a genuinely rewarding night out. It was not about fine dining, it was quality, honest fare at a fair price. Service could accommodate Tapas style eating experiences by sharing food as a group over a longer stay. Instead of one big drop of food as you did with your partner, but served when each portion is done.

Awww Sam I was actually having the worst night and came on YouTube and you’re there🫶🏽 this is gonna make my night fr

I honestly didn't know that TGI Friday's existed anymore! All the ones left my area (in the US) years ago. It used to be the "fancy" place when I was growing up. It was where we went after school dances, graduations, birthdays, etc. When you went in the actual restaurant, it really was crazy how it looked EXACTLY like the one I remember going to the most (I know, it's a chain, but this was years ago). I used to get the Jack Daniels burger which had this slightly sweet, slightly spicy sauce on it that was sort of like BBQ, but not entirely (excellent description!). I had no idea they had such a wide range of frozen stuff. We definitely don't have that here. I think we've got the sad potato skins though, so woo!
