I asked you guys for your cheap/struggle meals that you regularly have, and over the last week, I've been trying them out to see if they are any good!

Some were brilliant, some were just weird so to see which was best, I ranked them out of 10!

This was such a fun thing to do - I loved trying all of your recipes! Let me know down below if you'd like to see me do this again, but for now, please do enjoy me eating some of the strange things you guys eat!

No way that lemon pasta is a struggle meal. That’s affluent pasta. I’d feel fancy making it for a meal

I think some of these people consider having to shop at Sainsbury’s rather than Waitrose one week a struggle, haha

(Also, congrats on 100k!)

Parmesan in a struggle meal?! Scandal!

These were interesting struggle meals. My go to struggle meal is the classic Pasta with Butter, or Pasta with the cheapest can of sauce at the store. Then throw in any bag of frozen veg.

Pasta, beans and cheese I loved in school, used it as a struggle meal for later in life but now is a firm favourite quick and lazy meal, my toddler loves it too

My struggle meal is microwave jasmine rice (sticky rice also works) with sweet chilli sauce and a blob of mayo.

My struggle meal is pasta cooked in a couple of stock cubes. I use chicken but there's flavour in all of them. It soaks up the flavour

The tuna bake looks the winner to me. A balanced meal, pretty cheap to make. At least 2 portions. A winner.

my struggle was and still is, in a pan, ham or veg stock cube, potatoes, onion, carrots, boil then blend into a thick soup, can add any veg you have, salt pepper and its warm and filling, as a pensioner this has kept me going for years
