You know why you’re here today.

RIP Cliff. 40 years.

40 years.
Live Forever, Cliff

RIP to Cliff Burton, who created this masterpiece.

1962-1986

It was 40 years ago today, R.I.P. Clifford Lee Burton (1962-1986)

Blasting this out loud enough so the entire neighborhood hears. Rest in peace Cliff🕊️

You know when you want to turn up the volume but it’s already on max

Happy 64th birthday in heaven Cliff!

“Dude, I can hear your music through your headphones.”

“Good.”

This song was played at cliffs funeral… I hope everyone can see why.

Burton the best bassist of Metallica. He died on Saturday September 27 1986. RIP (1962-1986)

Always remember Cliff

time for my neighbours and I to listen to Metallica.

I went into the California prison system at the age of 19, spent the next 38.5 years in hell. In the 90's we all listened to and internalized this music, used it through the medium of the weight pile. Now, after 4 weeks of freedom, I'm enjoying on u-, tube. Ours was a special generation. Love to All!

“That is Orion, and that goes out specifically to our fallen brother, Mr. Clifford Lee Burton. We miss you, and we love you brother”

-James Hetfield, Blacksburg, Virginia, May 7, 2025

At my darkest hour, where everything was dust and nothing was there to grab to keep moving forward, this song gave me the tranquility and stoicism to turn my back to my old life and create a new one. Eternally grateful for this anthem for life and self improvement.

This heavy thrash metal album "Master of Puppets" got it all – hits, sound, high quality, songs meaning and one of my favourite instrumental song ever by Metallica – Orion. Epic and phenomenal thing!

Cliff Burton, R.I.P Man😢

Rest In Peace 40 years Cliff Burton

40 years of Master of Puppets! 🤘

This song is like a movie: it has a climax, a plot, character, details, atmosphere, personality, and an entire story inside it. I can feel a whole life inside it. So much effort to construct it! No 4 chord pop song can even stand against it.
