Have a pile of beautiful paper scraps that you just can't bring yourself to throw away? Me too! Instead of letting them pile up—or tossing perfectly good paper—let's turn them into something useful.

In this first Too Pretty to Toss! project, I'm using leftover paper from my paper crafting projects to make 3 different DIY bookmarks:

📖 A corner origami bookmark
📖 A classic paper bookmark with a tassel
📖 A woven/braided paper bookmark made from smaller scraps

These are simple projects you can customize with whatever scrapbook paper, cardstock, decorative paper, or leftover pieces you already have. It's a fun way to use some of those oddly shaped pieces and skinny strips that are just too pretty to toss!

I hope this inspires you to dig into your own scrap pile and see what you can make instead of throwing those beautiful papers away.

Coming up in the Too Pretty to Toss series: I'll be turning more of my paper scraps into mini notebooks and some more unexpected projects, so stay tuned!
