Tips for embossing vellum: Place a piece of cardstock with the vellum and run it through. The vellum will be beautifully embossed with no cracking.

A TIP: for vellum, run a piece of cardstock through with it and it shouldn’t crack and you get 2 for 1.

When embossing, since different companies folders require different "sandwiches". After the struggle to figure out what works I write it down on a post-it note and stick it on the back of the folder for next time!
Thanks for the video, I've experienced some of the same issues!

Justine, I’m loving the baby gurgles and chatter in the background. Thank you for making my day not only with a video and inspiration, but for bringing joy into my heart through your baby.❤

I see everyone else is thinking the same, awesome ideas but also love hearing your sweet baby in the background, all my babies are all grown, no grandkids yet so was such a joy hearing those sweet sounds 😊

I think all of those are really pretty! I like the daisies a lot. I think the technique of rubbing white ink over embossed areas is amazing. Sounds like someone was having fun in the background! That is so wonderful to hear. I miss babies.

I find a piece of waxed paper in an embossing folder when embossing vellum prevents cracking - regular or 3-D. When I have 3-D embossing folders that is particularly deep& even causes regular cardstock to crack, I leave the waxed paper in the folder.

I now lightly mist (with water of course) the cardstock before laying it into the embossing folder--I do this with ALL embossing folders, even 2D folders. It really, really enhances the design and makes them stand out. Can I just say, hearing the sounds of your happy baby "talking" in the background was so sweet, I realized I was smiling through 98% of the video! I also want to say "You go girl" to Justine, you've figured out that you can be both a mom and a YouTube creator, I wish you the best of luck as you both grow!
