What if Harry Potter found every letter Hermione Granger ever sent home, hidden in her beaded bag, in the freezing winter after Ron left the tent? Before she erased herself from her parents' memories, Hermione took six years of letters with her so nothing could contradict Wendell and Monica Wilkins. One night, reaching for a blanket, Harry pulls them out and reads the first line she ever wrote about him. This Harry Potter what if story follows Harry and Hermione from the troll and the Chamber to the Yule Ball and the Ministry, told from her side for the first time, all the way to Godric's Hollow.

One bundle of letters. One envelope at the bottom that nobody was meant to open. And a choice that changes the whole hunt.
