What if Anakin Skywalker faked killing the younglings? Let's explore the depths of it in the video.

The 501st Legion tears through the Jedi Temple corridor by corridor, and blaster fire echoes off walls that have stood for a thousand years while smoke curls through archways where younglings once practiced their first lightsaber forms. Anakin Skywalker marches ahead of his clone troopers with his hood drawn and his blade humming, and he yells an order over his shoulder for the 501st to sweep the eastern wing and the meditation halls while he secures the Council Chamber personally. The clones peel off without question. He pushes through the Council Chamber doors and finds them huddled behind chairs.
Anakin's blue blade casts long shadows across the polished floor. Sidious's command rings through his skull, and his grip tightens on the hilt until his knuckles ache. He raises the lightsaber. The children flinch.
He holds the position, and in those seconds, every justification Sidious fed him about saving Padme, every dark whisper about necessary sacrifice, collides with pairs of eyes staring up at him and waiting for rescue from the one Jedi they still trust. Anakin deactivates his blade. The younglings remain frozen behind the chairs, staring at him.
Youngling (terrified): Are you going to help us?
Anakin (low, urgent): Yes. But you have to trust me.
Youngling (voice shaking): The clones are killing everyone.
Anakin: I know. That's why we're leaving now. Stay close to me, don't make a sound, and do exactly what I tell you.
Youngling: But... where are we going?
Anakin: Somewhere they won't find you. Come on.
He moves fast. The younglings follow in a stumbling line, bare feet padding against cold stone, and Anakin reaches out through the Force to track every clone patrol in his range. Two troopers round a corner ahead of him, and he cuts them down before either can raise a blaster or key a comm channel, dragging their bodies into an alcove while the children press themselves flat against the wall behind him.
He leads them through service corridors and ventilation shafts that only Temple guardians and senior Jedi know exist, passages built centuries ago for exactly this kind of catastrophe. After twenty minutes, he reaches a reinforced chamber buried three levels beneath the main Temple foundation. Emergency provisions line the walls. The door seals behind them with a heavy mechanical thud. Anakin kneels in front of the group and grabs the oldest boy by the shoulders.
Anakin (fierce, quiet): You stay here. You don't open this door for anyone except a Jedi you recognize. If nobody comes within two days, there's a maintenance tunnel behind the far wall that leads to the lower city. Take the others and run.
The boy nods, and Anakin leaves them there and heads back toward the Council Chamber. Along the way, he collects three bodies from the hallway, Jedi who fell during the initial assault, and arranges them inside the chamber alongside scattered training sabers and scorch marks from his own lightsaber gouged into the floor and the furniture. When the 501st troopers eventually sweep through and file their report, the scene tells exactly the story Sidious expects to hear.
Anakin walks out of the Temple as smoke pours from the upper windows into Coruscant's night sky, and as far as Anakin knows, only the children sealed three stories underground know what he has done.
Jedi Master Shaak Ti survives the initial assault by sealing herself inside a secondary archive chamber when the first explosions hit, and she watches through a cracked door as Anakin leads the younglings away from the Council Chamber instead of cutting them down.
