I was 18yrs old and travelling in my sister's and brother in laws car when the news came on the radio to say that Karen had died I remember feeling so sad and have remained a carpenters fan ever since that day

Such a tragic loss and so, sorry for her. ❤❤❤

One of my sisters had anorexia, she was shown love by our parents, but it was the bullying at work that effected her. They were jealous of my sisters figure so they kept saying she was fat. It was miraculous when she got pregnant that helped her. Shes in her 70s now .

I used to feel such a failure when I ' gave in ' and ate anything... I'm 70 now... and I would still say that I have an eating disorder... People don't realise how dangerous this endless body perfection tyranny is, and still is...

BMI is such a joke though. According to bmi 8 stone is healthy for me but I would look skeletal if I was 8 stone- you would literally see bones. Karen looked unwell at 7.5 stone

I was also prescribed thyroid medication for weight loss ( by a dodgy doctor) I would have done ANYTHING to keep my weight down. I'm 70... I still hate nearly everything about my body... how fucked up is that...
