I never expected Tinkerbell to have a potential enby partner nor lesbian fairies in the romance novel but I am so HERE for it

Still ashamed that we never a movie about how Tinkerbell met Peter Pan and how they became the dynamic duo.

i honestly kind of love when brands give their franchises never-ending spinoffs and lore. even if it’s not consistent whatsoever. also, when i realized as a kid that jake and the neverland pirates and pixie hollow are technically the same universe my mind was blown

Peter Pan gives me super senior who tries to date freshman vibes I don't know how to explain it

Omg I loved the fairies when I was younger! A note about the talents getting ”too specific”: There’s a world of fairies guidebook that specifies that some talents, like the caterpillar shearing talent you mentioned, would be subgenres or specialties of more mainstream talents! So while it’s called their talent, it’s more like a job within the talent. Animal talents in particular have a lot of mentioned specialties.

if it makes somebody feel any better--lamb's ear is the common name of a popular ornamental plant. It's a plant (tachys byzantina) that's super fuzzy and has some mild medicinal properties, so that's probably what the fairy is wearing instead of the literal ear of a lamb

those books have such an insight into how upsetting everything is as a little girl, like the levels of empathy that would've made me cry about flowers dying and mice being shooed away is so so important actually

If I had a nickel for every time we had a Tinker Bell lore vid, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?

For some reason I thought you were gonna say
“If it wasn’t Mickey the mouse,
It would be “Tinker the bell”😭

My kid is absolutely obsessed with all things Pixie hollow. Speaking of pulling talents out of their asses, you didn't even mention the shoe shining or dishwashing talent fairies 😂

In the first books of Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie's there was always LGBT+ fairies he wrote there was boy fairies and and girl fairies and some faires don't know what they are so kinda happy they had some queer representation in modern books

First of all, epic slay for nonbinary fairies and lesbian happy endings. that shit's iconic.
Also, that neverland girls book reminds me so much of the Rainbow Magic, another stupidly long franchise about fairies. I would eat up a lore video on those books SO HARD

I was OBSESSED with the never girls when I was younger. I even met the author and had her sign my copy of the first book (how it took my parents longer than five seconds to figure out I was neurodivergent we'll never know)

53:28 actually this fits very well with the original books about neverland and Peter Pan. There were fairies who were white, and they were girls. Mauve fairies were boys. And blue fairies were “little sillies who aren’t sure what they are”
So from the origin of Peter Pan, fairies have been gender queer
