SO SORRY FOR MY MONSTER HIGH MISTAKE AT THE END!
In the section at 48:33 I meant to say G2, NOT G3 which is the current line. I will return my Monster High fan badge now

I can't believe Draculaura's third cousin twice removed Talin got jealous and stole her boots at the family reunion.

$30 for a doll with no articulation and a cardboard mask is just highway robbery

I think the zombies line would be really fun if you wanted to pretend that there was a zombie apocalypse and your dolls were getting transformed.

"tries hard to hide her identity at school" while wearing what I can only describe as an entirely golden medieval pop prince's fit is so funny - taro anything for fave purple food, btw!

Kalani is NOT surviving on her proposed diet of just green vegetables. Nutrient deficiencies ARE happening.

Yesterday, my partner had a really concerned face and said "Ok, but if zombies are decaying, how come they are still able to stand up? They're not supposed to have any inner ear left to keep balance" and that's such a valid concern.

These dolls are so cool, especially later ones! The execution is rough, but the concept art is great

I think on paper Mystixx is a really interesting concept, the idea of being able to switch a dolls face has a lot of potential if executed well. But that was the problem with Mystixx, it wasn't executed well, mainly due to how cheaply made the dolls were. I never owned them personally but even looking at the stock photos you can tell that they were made as cheaply as possible

I would definitely not mind if someone did decide to revisit the concept of a doll that can change it's face, but I just hope that it's done better

My professor designed some of the boxes (I'm a graphic design major), I've been trying to find the Azra Vampire doll with the two wigs. IF ANYONE HAS ONE, plz let me know and I'll buy it off you so my professor can finally have the doll. He's been yapping about how he never got one after making the design so I think it'd be cool to gift it to him.

Honestly, the Grimm Fairytales concept about transforming into animals can work considering that there are a lot of fairytales focused on the idea of transforming into animals

There are even Grimm Fairytales that feature human-animal transformations that fit the species they have (raven = The Raven, fox = The Golden Bird, snake = King of the Golden Mountain, and sheep/lamb = The Little Lamb and the Little Fish) .

(Author's note: prolly have fairytale brainrot so bear with me)

As a general rule, never end a motto with a preposition! "The Doll with the Changing Face" <-- fixed it! 😂 Or even "Face Changer"? Almost anything is better than "The Doll You can Change the Face of"

@kat1064 1 year ago

Not only did they steal Draculaura's shoes, But they also stole Clawdeen's as well lmao

35:25 "motion comic".
Just a fancy way of saying, "we only had a ten cent budget to make this".

As a person from Russia, I remember seeing those while in primary-middle school and thinking "whoa, those are some creepy-ass dolls". And I can assure you, none of us, middle school monster high enthusiasts, were buying any of those, lmao😂

@AliCatDarling 1 year ago

I actually got one of the rococo Azra dolls when I was buying a bundle of used Monster High dolls. She didn't come with any of her clothes or wig. I didn't know anything about Mystixx, so thank you for solving the mystery behind the doll.

The fact that they took a line of secret vampires and gave them hyperspecific diets…it reads like the character trying to blend in? “No no I don’t drink blood! I eat…p u r p l e.”
