While Otzi is a very very old mummy, he isn’t considered the oldest anymore!! It’s actually the Spirit Cave mummy in Nevada! At approx. 10,000 years old, the spirit cave mummy is a really interesting example of repatriation and indigenous rights when it comes to the deceased and their remains.

I have to admit that they look delicious. The preparation and ingredients remind me of bannock, AKA frying pan bread. It’s more like a biscuit than a bread, but it’s wonderful with jam.
