This song was #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart some weeks ago. A first for a Mexican band and for an all-female one.

Great reaction welcome to the rabbit hole that is The Warning. Live stuff anything from the Live Pepsi Center CDMX and as for their singing Dany "guitarist" is the lead singer and does backups when Pau is lead, Pau "drummer" does some lead and backups and Ale "bass" does backups but can lead sing but she doesnt like to as she is an introvert but the "older" she gets the more she is coming out of her shell

Great reaction! The guitarist is the main vocalist but they can all sing. I'll suggest Dust To Dust/Dull Knives live from the Pepsi Center CDMX for your next reaction. It's two songs played back to back and highlights their musicianship and vocal abilities well. Thanks for reacting to The Warning and as we fans like to say, "You Have Been Warned!"

Great reaction and I'm here for more of The Warning..! Let's go... Pick anything from their Teatro Metropolitan and/or Pepsi Center concerts... They were professionally shot and produced, and all are fantastic..! With that said, my favorite is the Dust to Dust/Dull Knives performance from the Pepsi Center (it really showcases all of their talents in a 7-minute performance)..! LIVE is their SUPERPOWER, but their OMVs are great too..!

The Warning is a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico, formed by the three Villarreal Vélez sisters:
Daniela "Dany", 26, plays guitar and sings lead vocals on most songs
Paulina "Pau" (pronounced Pow), 24, plays drums, sings backing vocals, and occasionally takes the lead
Alejandra "Ale" (pronounced AH-leh), 21, plays bass and adds backing vocals
For some standout performances, check out Hell You Call a Dream or Dust to Dust/Dull Knives from their 2023 Pepsi Center show in Mexico City, Evolve at the 2023 MTV VMAs, Automatic Sun at Auditorio Nacional in 2025, or Escapism on Honda Stage.
Their parents were not musicians, but they grew up in a music loving household, with concert DVDs and music always around. The sisters started with classical piano lessons from a young age, but everything changed in 2008 when the video game Rock Band inspired Pau to take up drums at age 6 and Dany to begin learning guitar at 8. They played individually at first, but in 2012, when Ale was 7 she chose to learn the bass out of curiosity after seeing it in concert DVDs. Only then did the sisters realize they could form a band together.
They began by covering their favorite rock songs and uploading them to YouTube to share with family and friends. One of those covers, Enter Sandman by Metallica, posted in 2014 when Dany was 14, Pau was 12, and Ale was 9, went massively viral and now has over 27 million views.
Their first EP, Escape the Mind, came out in 2015. They followed it with two independent full length albums, XXI Century Blood in 2017 and Queen of the Murder Scene in 2018. In 2019, they released Narcisista, their first song in Spanish, as a standalone single.
In 2020, they signed with Lava Records. In 2021, they collaborated with Alessia Cara on a reimagined version of Enter Sandman for The Metallica Blacklist, a tribute album celebrating the 30th anniversary of Metallica's The Black Album. They also released the MAYDAY EP that year, featuring six songs that were later included on their 2022 album ERROR. That was followed by their fourth full length album, Keep Me Fed, in 2024.
In 2026, they released the collaboration standalone single Love To Be Loved, co written with Teddy Swims and featuring Carín León. They also released their fifth full length album, Everything's Falling, on August 28. Its three pre release singles were Kerosene, Ego, and Ritual, all with music videos, and Kerosene reached No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, making The Warning the first Mexican band and first all women band to top the chart. Everything's Falling debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Top Hard Rock Albums, as well as No. 2 in Top Album Sales, No. 3 in Top Rock Albums and Vinyl Albums, and No. 4 in Top Rock & Alternative Albums. They also released a music video for Bite My Tongue.

Yes, NeNe is a fan and says they are one of her biggest inspirations. The pro-recorded live performance video from the Pepsi Center CDMX on their channel has been the go to recommendation for watching their live performances, but they have a lot of other live performance videos as well, which is the next best thing to seeing them in person. Look forward to more reactions to The Warning! 👍😎

Enter Sandman from 2014 is a piece of history.
Enter Sandman from 2023 is a good representation of their compositional and musical skills. They were 23, 21, and 18 at the time.
Kerosene is a lot of fun, and as you probably realize since you watched Enter Sandman from a couple of years ago, they don't usually dress like the did in this music video - it was a parody and they were playing the part(s).
The Warning might be the best live rock and roll band touring today. Live is (one of) their superpower(s), but all (20+) of their music videos are well-conceived and produced.
Later on, if you are still loving The Warning, their 2018 performance at Lunario, where they debuted their second album, a concept album titled Queen of the Murder Scene, is a stunning, for children, with no record deal (they'd turned down a few from major labels that weren't to their liking). They were 18, 16, and 13 at the time of Lunario - this was the first year Ale was playing a full-scale bass (two years later, at age 15, she'd have a deal with Spector).

Someone probably beat me to this, but here goes. They were all classically trained pianists from a very early age, but after their father got them the Rock Band video game, they never wanted to do anything but play that, so their parents bought them instruments and hired a music teacher for them, who emphasized the importance of them learning to compose music, themselves. And the rest is history.

KEROSENE
Song by The Warning
Songwriters: Daniela Villarreal Velez / Alejandra Villarreal Velez / Paulina Villarreal Velez / Anton Curtis DeLost /Danielle Nicole Rubio.
I know you try so hard
I know you wish you were me
You're so kind of whatever
You wear it on your sleeve
I think I know what you hide
You wanna sell what's free
It kills you to be kind
But it's never killed me
I'll say it once, won't say it again
Look in my eyes when you're talking to me
It came out of your mouth, don't try to pretend
Look in my eyes when you're talking to me
Strip down for me
I see right through you
Spit kerosene
You know you want to
Say what you mean
Whoa
Show me your teeth
When you're talking to me
I know you fall asleep
With me on your screen
You got soap in your mouth
But you'll never come clean
I'll say it once, won't say it again
Look in my eyes when you're talking to me
It came out of your mouth, don't try to pretend
Look in my eyes when you're talking to me
Strip down for me
I see right through you
Spit kerosene
You know you want to
Say what you mean
Whoa
Show me your teeth
When you're talking to me
You rip my hair, my style, my jeans
I swear you copy everything
You try to write the songs I sing
It makes me sick
Strip down for me
I see right through you
Spit kerosene
You know you want to
Say what you mean
Whoa
Show me your teeth
When you're talking to me
You rip my hair, my style, my jeans
I swear you copy everything
You try to write the songs I sing
It makes me sick
When you're talking to me

#1 most popular live performance, "Dust to Dust / Dull Knives (Cut Better)" live at the Pepsi Center 2023. The entire concert is free to view from their youtube channel, and reactors have no copyright issues reacting to it.
