❤Yes he and his wife went through this, all his music is from his life .please,do know bravery

Great, raw reaction. Nice to see a dude who's man enough to show his emotions.

Yes - they lost their first child (a girl) - now they have 2 or 3 boys. So sad!

James can definitely write some songs that can break your heart. 😢So sad for him and his wife.

Yes, this happened to them. They were expecting a girl, and the lost her.

Yeah “no bravery” live, very touching! JB is so good in lyrics and emotions 👏🏻

James Blunt writes a lot of life experiences.
His first album Back to Bedlam in 2004 was a huge success. You're Beautiful was based on passing his former girlfriend on the subway and she was with her new boyfriend. He jokingly calls it a stalker song but it was a source of personal pain. Same with Goodbye My Lover from the same album. No Bravery was about his time in Kosovo. He was in the British military for 6 years prior to his music career and it greatly impacted him. Carry You Home from his second album All the Lost Souls was also about another NATO Peacekeeping US soldier in he knew there.
James Blunt said in an interview how hard it was to write this song The Girl That Never Was and go home and discuss it with his wife 😢. They have sons now but no little girl. I will always remember my little great niece who was still born the week of her due date. I held her little self and said hello and goodbye and still cry for her these many years later. James Blunt's music is a beautiful painful and empathetic punch to the heart.
Thanks for the heartfelt review of The Girl That Never Was ❤

James Blunt is the official king of horrifically sad songs. There's No Bravery and Carry you Home, which are two songs he wrote about his time in the service. There's Dark Thought he wrote about losing Carrie Fisher who was a very close friend of his.

I appreciate you sharing your raw reaction. I did resonate with you as do thousands of others.

My husband and I lost our son 47 years ago. It hurts just as much as when we miscarried . my only solace is now my husband and him are together. We did have 2 beautiful daughters.

"Carry You Home" and "No Bravery" next, please!

I got it with the clouds spinning. Had the same reaction: am I ready for this?

He writes about his life.

This is my second video i watched of you. Dont stop, dont fake it. Your reactions feel true and you as a person feel like a good one. Im drunk i wont even remember i wrote this tomorrow XD but your videos will probably come up in the future on utube. Keep doing u.
