In the end. Gael is the antithesis of flame. Gael is everything gwyn was afraid of in humanity. The dark soul.

The final boss in the first game is a hollowed man with a great sword.

The final boss in the series is a hollowed man with a great sword

This is the hardest boss fight in the souls series, and I’m not talking about difficulty. There is a large build up to Gael’s fight. Every step of the way he’s helping us to make the painted world. Yet in the end we fight him, a broken and hollowed man who only has one purpose left that is keeping him going. It starts with him barely being able to stand with Gael finally giving every ounce of strength left and with that he was able to do the unthinkable. He was able to make the dark soul manifest into something that could be used for good. To end the suffering of all afflicted by the sins wrought from the greed of Gwyn.

Gael, just one of the best and most challenging bosses of dark souls. and the final farewell to a great saga.

I've somewhat recreated the Gael boss fight in dnd and tomorrow is the day it gets to be played. Its going to be the most intense fight I've ever run so far I'm sure of it.

To me, this is my favourite ost of his 3 phases, it perfectly encapsulates that this is the last battle of this dead world in a sea of ash. Haunting and powerful

YES!! Just what I needed ... thank you!! Once Phase 2 is done, it would make an epic climax to my campaign (I host DnD lol)

I thoroughly enjoy all phases' soundtracks, but I feel this is the best one.

The build up to the next two phases getting wild, almost is what makes them wild 😅

It also perfectly encapsulates the journey undergone to get to this point.

Nice loop as always, Tomito
