this is my comic! part 4 is out now, thanks for the kind words everyone and grief for making these! also I do have a patreon where I do a director's commentary blog and will eventually be putting my next comic exclusively 👀

Laura was a real G until the end. So sad for her death, but her sacrifice makes sense. Really wondering if Hillside is just one big illusion, and Sam and Maggie are seeing different things based on what they want to happen. I don't think that's the real Sarah, but who knows. Excited for part 4.

the way I always interpreted the scribbles in Charlie's head was that the sight was so horrific that Maggie couldn't properly process it

Laura's death is the most heartbreaking one to me she helped she did everything but still ended up never being able to see her kids again

My theory is that the cat masks are something of a tecno-organic matter that, with time, merge with the human head.
That would explain why we see some people died after getting hit in the cat head even if the human head should technically be in a lower position.

Bro I KNEW something was gonna happen to Charlie- right after he got his crush to be his girlfriend 😭

Whenever a character confess their love in a horror story and didn't get rejected, it is sign that they are going to die soon 😔

"You wanted to see what's inside"
This is the final quote the author put at the end of S3. 💗

So Cass and Please Hold are really interesting because they poke some holes in how the kids are handled. Either A: their parents were redded, but clearly they are still alive. That means either the kids aren’t killed or these two somehow survived a multistory drop with no medical attention which seems unlikely. Or B: their poor parents are still playing the game, but their kids are so incredibly screwed up that it would be next to impossible for them to have a happy reunion. This brings into question whatever reality Sam is living in.

39:17 the moment where the girl screams “I will not hold” the perspective pans in view of a megaphone suggesting that the kids probably were given announcements and possibly took orders through those speakers, one of which being “please hold”

I have no idea how maggie is considered selfish and cowardly for trying to save every child and not just her own

I don't even care how nonsensical the locomotive is, I'm just so happy that charlie is having the time of his life

Charlie gets a girlfriend, then freaking dies

My favorite is the one liners the author drops at the end of each episode. When Charlie had his head cut in half, the line is: "You guys wanted to see what was inside."

I had a hunch about Winston. But I thought it would turn out to be the homeless guy they fed the corpse of the original Winston to back in season 1

The ending literally BROKE MY HEART... I was expecting things to go wrong, but damn. Admittedly, it got me so bad I'd wake up earlier than usual and just could not go back to sleep because of the image of Charlie in my head.

I genuinely do not know how this story will end, most of the time you can predict where a story is going. I do not understand what is the motivation of the “new government” nor can I imagine a scenario where this gets better 😭

the kids (who are now adults too) are brainwashed and going absolutely crazy, the adults are broken in many ways, I don’t think they can even survive without the catheads since it’s fuzed to their heads, babies have it too so it’s another generation of suffering, are the grown up children having babies willingly or are they being assaulted

Everything is not fine 😭

I feel so bad for Craig/Winston! As someone who does reptile rescue, I love all my reptiles as if they are actually my kids, and I would never let anyone hurt them. Reading that segment actually made me cry. Poor Winston

@LuckChiapas 1 year ago

48:29 they’re not ecoterroists because they would have spared the crocodiles. They were just belittling “Winston II”

@ClownHoundII 1 year ago (edited)

My personal theory: Pleasehold only says that phrase because it was repeated at the edge/where ever the kids are at. Maybe a sign or voice over a radio like some kind of waiting room. If they were taken really young, it may be the only words the kid knows. They were also found covered in blood; either they fell and survived somehow or pretended to be dead to escape.
