I wish they made the frame around the screen off-white, same as the e-ink color. With the white frame, the screen without frontlight looks grayer than on a black ereader. What I like about this book is its compact form factor and magnetic cover. I wish there were more ereaders like that.

Thanks for showing the device off, I got a lot better idea of how it is to use thanks to your help. I think if you wanted to up the production quality of your video a bit, you probably should've gone and got the XTEInk instead of just describing it, gotten a couple closer shots of the texture on the back and the gap between the glass and the display, and show off a few more apps than just a single book in the typical reader app. This device is totally open, so it begs the question, "What advantage does this freedom provide?". Can you use reddit on it? What does that look like? What does an online article look like on something like this? etc. etc.

Thanks again!

i can't find a popsocket that is compatible with the grooved surface. Anyone any idea? I don't want to buy Boox's case that adds magsafe.

What color is that ?

Looking forward to the full review! I will be upgrading my Kindle paperwhite 2 soon. That thing is a relic. This is under my radar, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

For my first e-reader, do you reckon its better to go with a boox go 6 gen 2 paired load my local library app to read on a larger screen or take it easy and start with an xte-ink x3/x4 and have a device for micro-reading?

Why do you like how locked down remarkable is? What value is that providing?

2 questions. How you compare with Palma Pro 2, for daily use. How a note take on 6 appears in a larger display like Boox Air Note 5C. Can I start working in one and continue on the other correctly? Thanks

Why is that no one talks about the Android 11on this? Isn't Android 11 obsolete ? You can use this for, what 2 more years ? Really?

Even Huawei managed to switch from Android 12 to Android 16. And these guys are still selling Android 11 😂😂😂

I have the boox Go 6 gen 2 and the storage is not enough. First out of the box you only get about 21 GB of useable storage. That is about a third of the 32GB that we do not have access for use. I have 18GB of e books and if i place the e books on the internal storage that would leave me with only 3GB! I had to put the e books on the external SD card. After adding apps I have 10gb left on the device. Wish it came with 64GB (with about 48gb of useable storage). I have the XTEINK X4 and have never placed it on my phones.
I also have the Bigme B6 Color and B6 Black and White. They both have 64 GB of storage and SD card support.
