Brilliant video as always dos, as a classic springer addict, that's what we love to see, many thanks Russ.

We love older BSAs in our house and this video put a smile on our faces. John Knibbs International has a VS2000 on display, which is interesting to see. Around its pistol grip and cocking lever pivot area looks a bit like a Webley Osprey.

Another excellent Video. Up until 1975, when I bought an HW35, my pride and joys were a Mk2 Airsporter and Webley Mk 3 - from then on they didn't get a look in, as my interest focused on the HW range of springers. I still have a Mk2 Airsporter, along with a Mk1 Lightning and several Mercury's, but if Im picking up a BSA for some nostalgic fun, I always go for either my Lightning - arguably, best pointable carbine ever - or one of my Mercury's.  An interesting point about the early Airsporter's under-leaver's end catch, is that it was used by John Whistcombe on his beautiful air rifles - hand made and works of engineering  art.  Keep up the great work Dos.

Entertaining as always.

Another cracking video 👍👍 somebody at bsa  obviously had a plastic moulding machine for  their birthday in my opinion they need to dump virtually all the PCPs just keep one or two and go back to making high-quality spinners we all know when it comes to springers people will pay for quality bsa bring back the old names with weihrauch Quality i’m sure a lot of us would be queueing up for them

give me a classic BSA rifle and classic Webley pistol and i'm a happy man, nothing better!

Doz, didn't you know BSA r&d  ,also worked for British Leyland,  possibly 😂. Always look at the competition and listen to customers,  makes good business sense. BSA needed someone like you 👍.

Another brilliant video Doz. I think youre right on how they came up with the various designs. One thing that wasnt quite clear, do you like airsporters?
Love watching your videos. Always interesting and informative.  Thank you for making them.

Enjoyed that very intresting a big mercury fan just to get know a mercury challenger  i will keep looking 👍🤞

I had a BSA Airsporter S mk 7 i think it was circa '87, stunning rifle in a walnut stock and like an idiot i sold it.

you missed the silverstar    not sold in UK  a variant on the superstar, still hoping to pick one up in Europe. not to be confused with the spanish built polaris. I cant remember did you mention the RB2 ?

Agree wholeheartedly with you the Airsport must be the ugliest gun ever produced, as for the Buccaneer I thonk it's a great looking rifle. Unfortunately when you look closely it's been so cheaply made & is way over priced, however it is more, or as accurate as my Air Arms.
