The NERVE that lady has filling a lawsuit against Kristen's family when she knows damn well her son killed Kristen. Makes my blood boil

@audobea 5 years ago

I love that Mary was like ," Fuck my landlord I'm gonna solve a murder."

@sungshineev8732 5 years ago

So much respect to Mary and her husband for keeping all the letters, keeping the earring and for getting a team to search the house when they were getting evicted. They didn't HAVE to do it, but they did and I respect that so much.

I really hate when cases could have been solved if investigators would have just done their damn jobs.

@mollyfoxxx 5 years ago

The beeping noise was obviously Kristin’s watch going off. That’s so incredibly eerie. Obviously Paul and his dad didn’t bury her very deep if they could hear it so clearly. That part was so disturbing.

@iaziz92 5 years ago

I can’t believe that Paul’s parents could know what their son did and STILL have the nerve to sue the Smart family? I can see where their sons narcissism and entitlement comes from.

@goats_19 5 years ago

It's insanely ridiculous that a podcaster did a better investigation than the police. Huge props to Chris Lambert for bringing Kristin some justice, but wow this should've happened sooner.

@miraclej2150 3 years ago (edited)

His parents are even more disgusting. Literal enablers. Fucking disgusting. Helped him cover up an entire murder for 25 years. The entire family is disgusting. To file a lawsuit on a family that is clearly grieving because of your son is INSANE, especially since they knew he killed that girl. I have no words.

This case made me SO mad. The police did not care as much as they should have. They could have solved this decades ago.

@Marim724 5 years ago

It actually makes me feel some peace to know that the flores family feels harassed. I hope that they never know peace, they don't deserve it.

@maddiekaetterhenry6373 5 years ago

Paul’s mother speaking about them “harassing” their family made my blood BOIL. how dare they say the Smart family has no right to know the truth? absolutely infuriating.

@lizcarolew 5 years ago

“Mr. & MrS. sMaRt’s HeNcHmAn” ma’am your son literally killed someone

@iamelizabethcooper 3 years ago

He got 25 years to life. They waited 26 years for answers about their daughter. Horrific - he should never be allowed out with not only the act itself but the refusal to take responsibility or help the family, harassing them for years, and hurting so many other women. Disgusting.

@LCCH.cecilia 5 years ago

The fact that he was arrested at 40+ years, 25 years later, it's just mind-blowing to me. He was able to live his life like nothing happened, it's horrifying

@RachelRetalic 5 years ago

The thought of them hearing her alarm go off on her watch, buried in the ground somewhere is absolutely haunting

@gialala-fyi 5 years ago (edited)

EVERYONE at the party noted how creepy and weird he was, yet they all decided to leave her alone with him? I don't care if she was a stranger I don't know how you could do that to someone

@Mgmorris98 4 years ago

I can’t believe a man saw some people dig a hole, pick up something rolled up in a rug, and then put concrete over it and didn’t call the cops. like WHAT. I mean how much more obvious can people get

@samanthazapata4649 5 years ago (edited)

Not only is the watch insanely creepy, but I can't believe police thought "oh wow, they've got newspaper clippings of this missing girl under their mattress. Totally normal." 🙄

@ashtondakota7548 5 years ago

Honey the lady renting the house cracked the case 😭😭 she used her last 30 days to investigate!! Period need more people like this

@ronyalemerrill 5 years ago

They still can't locate the body!!?????
The neighbor that saw a "rug" being dumped at 3am that was heavy enough to require 2 people....really, dude. You said nothing? Just wow.

@StariingDown 4 years ago

The alarm going off at 4:20 is the creepiest thing I have ever heard in any true crime story and its also incredibly sad to think this poor girl was still trying to let people know where she was
