We would have 12 characters in the campaign but due to work, life, etc, we would have around 6-8 a week. The characters had a flying ship that was like a home base and normally sessions would end back on the boat. Think West Marches meets the old Marvel Ultimate Alliance game (where you could swap out characters between missions). Honestly, it worked for a long while.... aaand then everyone's schedules cleared up and i had 12 consistent players. Hence the burn out. So that's why Sean took over. So yeah. Would not recommend.
Also, several folks got some red flags before Sean's game began so he only had 6 to begin with. Shows how oblivious I am when literally half the group immediately goes "nope" and somehow I don't see it coming.
Also also. To this day, we still use two jokes from that time. When someone (especially Jack) drinks a health potion. "Woah, woah! You didnt add any sand to that, my guy! Who knows what its gonna do!" And any time someone mentions corn, you do what our resident farmgirl did when she realized she was completely right to be honed in on the crop. All she did was raise a hand up with the 🤙hand, proceeded to shake that hand while yelling, "COOORN!" Still cracks me up to this day.
