There should be no credit for “public service”. In fact, he should be held to a higher standard.

He says, during sentencing consideration, I have a family, I may lose my home, etc. if I have to go to jail. WTF DOES HE THINK HAPPENS TO EVERY PERSON HE PUTS BEHIND BARS!????! Absolutely, some need to be removed from society BUT so does a person of authority with no empathy for the people he is supposed to protect and serve!

He was twice her body weight and she was in handcuffs. She had no ability too break her fall.

6 months and 2 years probation? If we have done this to him we'd get 20 years. Its crazy he's claiming mental illness but he didnt have this before he slammed that woman.

What stands out here is that another officer actually reported the excessive force instead of looking the other way. Accountability only works when people inside the system are willing to speak up.

The fact that he is a police officer or former police officer, the penalties need to be harsher for breaking the trust that the public put in him . He violated that sacred trust.
