The fact that the odyssey is rated higher than Lotr is crazy.

I started following Drinker when he had less than a thousand subscribers, it's absolutely insane to see how far he's come!

"Why didn't you enjoy your meal, we only spat in it a little bit?"

5:30 Kirk Douglas played Odysseus very well in the 1954 Ulysses Movie. The Cyclops scene included dialogue also. Much more detailed.

No Hollywood has not learned anything.

I didn't know Drinker had eyes.

Commenting for the algorithm and for Drinker's sake.

Robert Pattinson was supposedly the only one who asked to see the script and read it before he said yes. He's awesome.

It's the portrayals of Circe and Calypso that gets me. Nolan was so scared to go against the modern narrative of, "women can do no wrong" that he completely changed their personalities. He portrays them as innocent and misunderstood, when in the actual story, they're everything but that. They are probably the biggest 2 reasons why Odysseus' journey back home takes so long. This is the type of stuff that ultimately got Nolan away from the actual message

Seeing Drinker all cleaned up and presentable is freaking me out.

Watching early podcasters who started rough and rowdy growing up is oddly unsettling.

Remember when we used to make fun of Arnold and Stallone movies as low brow?

Triggernometry should do an interview with Gary from Nerdrotic. His lifestory is what Hollywood can't show you any more.

12:37 Faramir fails to resist the ring in the movies???
No. How could that be your summary? He is initially tempted not by its power, but by his desire to please his father Denethor, because of his relationship with his brother and father, especially after his brother’s death. Then he LETS SAM AND FRODO GO and is told this will displease his father and his life will be forfeit and he says “then it is forfeit.”
Watch the movies again Konstantin.

If a waiter secretly spits in the meal you ordered, his saliva won't be a high percentage of your dinner nor would it have a significant impact upon your enjoyment of it.

That doesn't change the fact that he spit in your f'ing dinner... Regardless of what some food critics have to say about the subject.

I'd watch Arnolds worst movie 100x before I'd watch Pedro passcals best once.

Odysseus was the epitome of mental acuity as Achilles was of the physical.
To make Odysseus less than the Prime Mover of his own story of his own journey home — a journey named after him — is to be fundamentally ignorant of the entire story.
