105 deaths on that base in one year is beyond unsettling.

Guess I should consider myself lucky my Army officer Dad just came back from serving in Japan during our occupation with only alcoholism and mental illness. He and mom even adopted two Japanese American GI war orphans. The pain and violence we send around the world doesn't stay in country, it returns home to destroy not just the damaged soldier but their families and communities. The USA could afford to pay market value for the things we want from other countries and it would be many times cheaper than the resources expended to steal them.
Imagine if young people didn't have to sign up for violence to travel internationally and discover other cultures. We could actually have respect and understanding of our place in the greater population of our world. I'll never see it before I die but I've armed my daughter and grandson with the knowledge and history I wasn't taught. One thing seems clear, we can't go on as we have much longer.
Excellent discussion gentlemen 👍✌️

I know that is an older episode, but I just stumbled on it today.
This is, in my opinion, the most important episode of MANY important episodes that you have ever turned out. It is amazing how badly informed the US public is, and it seems that that is on purpose, so thank you for your reporting and especially in having figures like Seth Harp on.

This segment was just sooo disturbing and depressing.

Look at Hasting's car.  Supposedly the head-on crash into a palm tree was the cause of death but the front end is intact and relatively undamaged yet the engine and transmission were found 200 feet away.  Residents reported an explosion that shook their buildings.  The passenger compartment was obliterated but the rest of the car was not badly damaged.  He was working on a story about John Brennan at the time and told friends that he was under surveillance.

Psychopaths. We are run to ruin by psychopaths.

What an indictment of the US military, and really the culture of this country.. thank you Seth Harp and Chris…invaluable information .

As AN Afghan, it was so painful to watch this. There were so many targeted killings by these groups, and no one would believe us at that time about all this.....very disturbing

Saw this with my own eyes when my son was stationed there. The base has a dystopian air about it. As a vet myself, I knew the place was the exact opposite of “squared away”.

Seth Harp deserves a medal for bravery.

Seth and Chris, no words to thank you for your courage to denounce anomalies from "Special Forces". Anomalies just reflect more anomalies at several levels.

The military lawyer in Australia who exposed war crimes by Australian special forces in Afghanistan is now in jail for exposure of the war crimes the perpetrators of the war crimes and their  military superiors who covered them up , despite the evidence have never been charged.

SILENCE IS NOT AN OPTION! KEEP SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER WHENEVER YOU CAN!

Thank you Chris for your guests who tell the truth.  As an 88 old woman I have lost faith in American.  I am an anti Zionist Jew whose only heroes now are the Palestinian who will not give in to the IDF.

Thank you both. Keep safe Seth. Ireland 🇮🇪 north

Sadly, this was a really good video/topic, Chris. Thanks for covering this

1-4% of society in general is sociopathic. Since we know from years of study sociopaths seek excitement they are more likely to join the military and police. Since they lack any understanding of morality, they are far more likely to commit war crimes abroad or regular crimes at home. I think it is quite likely that special forces appeal to sociopaths, creating a subculture in the military of specially trained “super” soldiers who will do anything because it excites them and their is no interior force to stop them.

I lived and worked in tiny Grenada in 1980 - 82. The only drug on island besides alcohol was marijuana. After the US invasion in 1983 within the year the island was awash with cocaine and drug gangs. That beautiful, tiny country was ruined by the US marines.

About Waco. Something I learned several years ago. There was a small airplane operating above the Davidian Compound during the attack and firebombing. It was equipped with a FLIR motion picture camera.  What FLIR or Forward looking infrared does is it sees heat and not light. So the greater the heat source the more intense the contrast. There was a small independent group that had done a documentary movie about the intense corruption and outright lawbreaking that was involved in the attack on the Davidians at Waco. And they got a hold of this video. And published it in their documentary. Evidently the first people to get the video were the people at CBS and Sixty minutes. They produced a piece about it. And then even interviewed an engineer who was one of the people responsible for developing this technology. They sat down and screened this video with him for their show. And he started to describe different parts. Then the engineer got silent, and then despondent, and saddened. As he was describing automatic weapons fired into the back of the compound. This is the area of the compound where the poor people inside were trying to escape the fire and CS gas and smoke.  Automatic weapons fire was irected at where these Davidians were escaping the burning building to keep from dying. He specifically said there is nothing in nature that can create that kind of heat signature except automatic weapons fire. They were basically shooting down the fleeing men women and children as they escaped the burning building in the rear. Sixty minutes decided not to air their episode. They said it would be too controversial.  I saw the video in the documentary. I never thought of my country the same after that.
