Punisher doesn't even have powers. He's just a normal guy who's good with guns and hand to hand combat. So he seems like a hero that isn't particularly hard to adapt.

0:10 foreshadowing

The Punisher as a character is the definition of "God has let me live another day and I'm about to make it everyone's problem."

The Punisher doesn't make threats of violence, he makes promises

It's funny how the ESRB initially thought this game deserved an adults only ratting just from the violence alone when just a few years later we started getting games like Prototype and Dead Space.

Despite Garth Ennis being how he is about superheroes, it's important to note that he has a high amount of respect for Superman. He always writes Superman well, compared to how dirty he does Wolverine, for example.

0:16 This aged very well

"Way back in April 2000"
Thanks for reminding me 2000 was 24 years ago

This man's style of editing is pure art, and will never cease to amaze me!

Bro predicted the Mr beast drama 😭😭🙏🙏

It would be dope if someone made a Punisher game that is semi-open world and having a Sleeping Dogs inspired hand to hand combat system along with Max Payne inspired shooter mechanics, it would be awesome seeing The Punisher pull off these John Wick styled executions while of course also performing brutal environmental ones.

3:30 that one didn’t age so well…

"How many bodies, Castle?"

"Not sure... there were a lot of explosions." lmao

I like that it dips into the larger marvel universe, as Jigsaw uses Stark armour, and we get other characters like Black Widow

17:19 absolute cinema

Jesus, imagine how would the media react to a game like this being released today. They were afraid of Joker's premier and every game reviewer wouldn't shut up about experiencing PTSD from the torture mission in GTA V lmao

Fun fact: during the boss fights your supposed to find and fire on exposed weak points, for example with jigsaw i believe the back of the armor issnt as protectes

This game still holds up. The interrogations are a blast and the variety of weapons and enviromental kill options was ahead of its time.

When the world needed him the most, he arrived to give us another legendary meme filled masterpiece.

In all seriousness, glad to have to you back, Alex😅😁. This game truly is something else. I miss the days when Marvel was darker during the 2000s, as in my opinion, it led to some of their most unique content. Not all successful, but unique nonetheless. This game, Marvel Nemesis, etc. What a time.😅
