shocked to see this dude with only 63 subscribers this video slapped

nice video bro keep up with the good work

Good video, but to say that this was “objective” in any way especially with the reasonings for why u were giving points is just flat out wrong lmao

You didn’t talk about the enemies at all in the enemy section. Not a single boss is left unimproved in the remake. That alone gives it the point imo.

I dont know if I get an opinion but I played the original in VR which had separate mechanics than the stand still and shoot and playing it for the first time was insanely fun. The remake is amazing as well but the original in VR was too much fun!

Bingo

My dude, do not take what Crowbcat says about RE4R seriously. That guy is a disingenuous douche who did a ton of sketchy stuff in his videos to paint RE4R in as much of negative light as he possibly could. That guy is a dishonest agenda pusher whose actions have been detrimental to the RE fanbase with how they've gone around sowing dissent over their preferences and ego.

I think debates over whether or not the original RE4 or the Remake is better are ultimately counter productive as both games have very different circumstances surrounding their production and history.

I personally prefer the Remake over the OG for a variety of reasons, but that will never take away from the monumental status the OG has. After all, the Remake wouldn't exist if it weren't for the OG coming first.

For me personally I still feel tense when I pery in re4r because there always the oh fuck moment of missing and then getting hit by the enemy

There are 3 mains things that bug me from the remake.
1. Enemies specially at a higher difficulty don't stagger with 3-4 head shots. The OG made it too easy but the Remake over did it. Wish they would balance it out in the remake.
2. The fact you can't get laser sight in all weapons. Sure that is part of the balancing  of the game but maybe a new game plus+ item? Nope.
3. The voice acting overall felt worst. Salazar, Sadler, merchant, and of course Ada. It also bugs they scream death in the remake when the original already had the correct Spanish word "matalo" which makes more sense.

I still really like 4 remake but for the reasons above it's not on par with OG
