Building this desk was a MISSION. From the building techniques I had to use, to the complex integration of all the components, every step of this process challenged me in a way that I'm not used to. If you want to see more behind the scenes, and more detailed videos on various stages of this build, check out my Patreon - Patreon: WolfeStudioFurniture

Thanks so much for watching and see you in the next one!

NGL, your table is way cooler and way better built than the ones we have in our engineering school, well done sir.

As soon as you showed your mistake I hit the thumbs up.

It's a very funny approach to business - not to have a project, but to suffer and gain carpentry experience! Needless to say, the efficiency is simply off the charts!
P.S. By the way, I'll tell you a secret that in this world there is a reverse thread on screws and nuts. It really exists!

I’m personally more of a linoleum drafting table guy but I really love how your final build came out. Endlessly jealous!

the project you are carrying out is fantastic, the work is enormous and it is perfect. It would be good for me to buy this access to make a writing that is equally clear with other characteristics. It is fantastic and very efficient. I also make architectural and structural drawings. Thank you for allowing us to watch these educational videos. thank you. Greetings from Mexico City🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Beautiful table! Lovely video. I love how you don’t edit out mishaps. It’s encouraging and honest. 😊

Got it. Measure once, cut twice. Misery loves company. :)

When clamping the boards to press down the veneer, seems the sheet could have been flipped veneer-side down to increase the pressure over the whole of the veneer. This would more evenly distribute the pressure from the calls over the hole face since the intermediate points are also being pressed into the table.

I've always wanted a drafting table with a little lip to put a laptop on. Like a little block about 1/2 in tall, 3 in wide. Would be cool if it was flush mounted with springs, so it pops up.

This is a fantastic desk. But the video is even better. Amazing quality on both. You deserved way more subscribers and views!

Love it! No criticism here. The bottom leg covers remind me of ski boots. lol

Woodworking is very good. You can solve Things in different ways. But Always choose the save way😊

That was wonderful although one of my personal problems after watching such cool builds, is I now want to build one. I have no need for it nor do I know anyone who would but it was so cool, I want to try it. No I am not asking for plans. I just always want to try building cool things like this.

My favorite video yet. Great design, great commentary, great finished product. I do agree that the wood combo looks a bit funky; maybe some stain on the bottom half could help?
