I’m liking the Petrified dish and Dc53 generic.

Sweet video brother! Keep up the great work!

That's a hard one, I'll have to think about it 😂

I like the ulti clip idea

Old hickory butcher knife is a kitchen knife.  So is Russell green river 5in  fish knife .
They are very capable.
Really im 58 been hunting fishing camping most of my life. Never found a need to baton in the woods ever!

Gidday Michael..Cheers for the great video man... I am in the process of getting a Shanzu Damascus 8" kitchen knife at the moment.. I really like the leather sheath you have yours in ... was just going to put it in my knife block... but I was hesitant this is a perfect solution. Also separates it so I will have exclusive use... the other family members can use the current one... lol..  if you would be so kind as to let me know where you got it, I would be geateful rather than trial and error. Cheers and thanking you in advance of a favourable reply yours sincerely Laurie Keays.

(debo conseguir el beluga pero tarda demasiado en llegar 2 meses (con impuestos incluidos), focuser no paga impuestos al enviar a chile (lo retendrá la aduana hasta que yo pague y seran 3 meses de espera)

Rapala fillet knife
folding utility knife (do I get to keep the 60+ spare blades)
high carbon steel chef knife
Schrade USA made 140 Old Timer
Schrade kukri

But I would sorely miss the bread slicer, the meat slicer, the santoku set, my favorite steak knives, boning knife, CRKT windage, Cold Steel mini tanto, the four different sized drywall knives, my double edged razor, paring knives, KA-BAR USMC model that was a gift from my brother, three throwing knives
Then there's the other edged tools, camp ax, splitting maul, forged hoe, pick, Estwing rockhound pick, hatchet, roofing hatchet, three throwing hatchets,
The saws, they get sharpened as well...well, except for the diamond blade rock saw.
The lawn mower has blades that get sharpened
And I sharpen my garden shovels as well.

Great discussion. These choices are very limited to your location with the type of trees and growth. Some places a machete is better than a chopper and others would be an axe for that last choice. You have favorites which can cloud yourapplicationor needs. The tools need to be well made and useful, not expensive collectors items! The sheaths are the pet peeve for myself. If it’s clumsy you will never have it or use it. Why should I have a custom sheath made for I knife that comes with one, does the maker care so little about their product that the sheath is a joke? BPS knives are very economical but have top of the line sheaths! Better most anything from Kabar or Cold Steel! The one that you have on all day and every day is the best one for what you do. If it’s not a good fit you will switch to the grind and size you need. My buddy took a filet knife and a butcher knife camping and fishing. That butcher knife chopped right through the thick spine on the big catfish in the lake! Made easy work of it.

5 ?????  So Id have to get rid off like 295 off them ............... ( A guess )  I don't count = I dont want to know !    Geez , I think there are 5 in the mail !

The camera angle man 🤦🏻‍♂️

but one thing... you dont buy knives to keep them. you buy them to use them. and you dont use 5 knives in the woods/camping. you might need 2 at most. one for cooking and one for other things! you might keep one primary and one folding knife for backup incase it gets dull or you loos it but not 5!
