Fun fact: the tau once discovered a destroyed Dreadnaught and we're shocked to find it was older than their entire civilization

"A proppa Krumpin" by Vox in the void is probably one of the few wholesome warhammer stories. it's like 4 parts, but it's definitely worth it, proving once again, Rouge Traders are the coolest, and orks is the bestis

Kroot once eaten catachan jungle fighters, they started wearing Red bandana and became insufferent to autority.

btw the Tau has already created a warp entity of the greater goo, The Goddess Tau'va. It crushed a dead guard small fleet and of of course is the fault of the humans.

Based 40k lore content creator collector: Powdur

The "Tau'va" quote at the end about names is very true. T'au do not have names like we do, instead their names grow and change based on things they are good at or accomplish. The commanders Shadowsun and Farsight were not born with those names, they did stuff to be called them.

Tau were the first faction that made me interested in 40k.  I struggle trying to be the "bad guy" in roleplaying games, just makes me feel worse, so the idea that the whole galaxy of 40k had nothing good worth fighting for didn't interest me.  Checked out a vid by I think PancreasNoWork talking about the Tau and started to actually grow some interest knowing that in some forgotten unwanted corner of the galaxy, someone is actually fighting for something real, not just fake propaganda.  The "commie" blueberries ended up being the soil I needed for my interest to take root and grow, and have since branched into other factions as well like Raven Guard and Eldar.

Luetin is my favourite Warhammer creator, he's made soo much good content. Really enjoyed your reaction, looking forward to the next one!

I can tell from the narrative of this video that Luetin barrely holding himself against hatered urge agains those tau ahahaha

In other words, Tau combat doctrine - especially with regards to their infantry - would generally be right at home in modern military combat of the 21st Century, but has far less success in the grimdark setting of 40k where the daemons of Chaos know no such thing as the concept of "retreat" and have basically unbreakable morale. They use logical tactics in an utterly illogical setting.

When they introduced back in the late 1990s/early 2000s, the Ethereal was among the absolute worst units you could field, because in addition to having poor stats in general, it getting bumped off would force your entire army to pass a morale check or else begin retreating from the battlefield. For this reason, I never used Ethereals, and focused exclusively on Battlesuits as command units. Ethereals are slightly better now in that they instead provide a passive buff to Leadership rolls, but they are still not a good unit.

Powdur you should watch stuff on the loyalist space marine chapters with traitor geneseed, they often have some of the coolest lore and tactics (chacaradons are a fan favorite example)
