The Aeldari (the Eldar) Explained: The galaxy's most advanced empire killed itself for pleasure and spawned the god who devours its dead. 40k Lore.

A race older than humanity. Brighter than the Imperium. Powerful enough to surpass its own gods. And yet doomed by its own fault.

In this hour-long lore documentary, I trace the complete trajectory of the Aeldari: their rise to the pinnacle of the galaxy, their slow fall into pleasure cults, the catastrophic birth of the power they call the Thirsting One, and the gaping scar left on reality. I explain why every Aeldari wears a spirit stone against their heart, what the Infinite Circuit is where their dead rest, why they live by the Path, what the Exarchs are, prisoners of their own discipline, and how Farseers sacrifice entire worlds to gain a reprieve. Until Ynnead, the god of the dead, whose awakening could save the race or mean its extinction.

This is not simply a codex summary. It is an essay on a civilization punished not for its cruelty, but for its recklessness. On what becomes of a people who have achieved everything, and on the mirror they hold up to us, the presumptuous young races.
As the story unfolds, connections are made to other parts of the lore: the Chaos Gods, the Necrons and the ancient War in Heaven, the Eye of Terror and Cadia, and the Dark Age of Technology as a human echo of the same fall.
