The Warp Explained: The Immaterium, the Sea of Souls — how the psychic ocean that enables travel, nourishes the gods, and reflects the galaxy works.

In this hour-long lore documentary, we delve beneath the surface of reality, where thought becomes matter, where time is merely an option, and distance a simple convention. The Warp is neither space nor an invasion from elsewhere. It is a mirror. Every emotion of every living being flows into it and returns as a storm, a predator, or a god.

Across ten chapters, we explore what the Sea of Souls truly is: the calm ocean before the storm, the mechanics of reflection, the Geller field and the terror of crossings, the Astronomican and its toll of lives, those who believed they could swim in the Great Ocean, the distorted cry of astrophysics, the birth of the great powers of the Immaterium, and finally, the Great Rift that split the Imperium in two. A single thread connects all of this: humanity does not fight an external enemy. It fights its own reflection, and every blow struck only makes it stronger.

This is an essayistic approach rather than a simple codex summary: lore as a mirror of civilization, with connections to psykers, Navigators, the Chaos Gods, the Dark Age of Technology, and the Aeldari. Uncertain versions and semi-canon are clearly marked as such, in keeping with the source material.
