When that guy had the toast in he had is settings on at defrost and bagel mode you have to press the buttons on the toaster to remove them functions and then it will toast read the manual mate

@andrewblake2297 10 months ago

I cant believe you reviewed a toasters toastability with bagel and defrost mode turned on. If the buttons are lit up. They are on🙈🤣👍🏻

that toast is like looking at the paints at B&Q and the other half going "oooh look at the difference between this ice white, and this oat white" and they're both just bloody white.

sometimes when I need a good laugh I go back to the infamous toaster video 🔥

Paid a fiver at Asda ten years ago and it’s still toasting away. It fits two rounds of full size warbies too.

Turn of the bagel and defrost function and it toasts both sides beautifully at once.

The countertop "oven" you had in that house when you first moved in seemed better.

The algorithm the toaster uses adjusts for the heating up time. So if you make several lots of toast your second and third batches don't come out burnt.

Hi mate good old YouTube algorithm sent me here! Just started watching your reviews and subscribed, this is exactly how I like gadgets to be tested. Just wanted to say (2 months too late) this is definitely faulty I have one and toasts great, 3/4 is perfect toast. Be good if you can return and re-review just as an update! I’m a big ninja fan so would love to see your thoughts on the pizza oven which we love, the mrs has become popular for her pizzas where we live!

Also their new things that I am on the fence about, the indoor griddle, portable crisper and coffee machine especially would be brilliant as I really feel I can trust your reviews compared to all the sponsored ads that pass as reviews on this platform.

We've had one for a couple of years and our toast definitely comes out darker (and a little lighter than a dedicated toaster), and notice it reduces time a little on subsequent slices if kept on the same settings. Have used it for a few other things including the Chicago small pizza's and toasties and all worked well. Bagel setting is really handy for bagels and fruited tea cakes as the tops don't burn.

This is just a theory
I don't own this model of toaster, but I used to own one that had those super wide slots.
With this model, you had to always put your toasts at one specific end if you only wanted only one toast.

I noticed you always placed your slices smack in the middle of the slot.
Maybe you need to put them at one specific end? Or both ends work, but not in the middle because you are between the 2 sensors? Maybe try testing that out.

Got ours today and shade 3 does my toast absolutely perfect.

I have the older version that didn’t have the panini press function. I almost never used it as an “oven,” so I got rid of the shovel slide thing. But it’s a good toaster.
