I have worked for Cadburys and Nestle. I hardly eat chocolate and none of their stuff. Says it all really

So.....the answer lies with the consumer. STOP BUYING this sh*t and find one of the proper chocolate producers. Yes its more expensive so we could all do with losing some weight and some money!! Corporates will only change when nobody buys their offerings.

Its all the same. Cocoa, oil, gas. Wholesale price shoots up, retail price shoots up. Wholesale price goes back to normal, retail prices never come back down again ever.

When I was a child some 70 years ago, quality Street we're absolutely wonderful sweets at Christmas, the stuff they sell in tins today's absolute overpriced garbage !
