koops: "i want to finish what my dad started so i can be strong"
koops in the pit: "i think this is the wrong hooktail"

I find it funny how for the few unsuperguardable attacks, if you do land it, you get a special sound effect and the Superguard text just says "nuh uh" and leaves.
It's like "Yeah you hit the Superguard, but that doesn't work here"

You missed the 1 star piece behind the stairs in the rook with the pipe to enter the Pit. That gets you 15 which gives you the option of a power plus for the challenge. Power Plus P helped out a lot when I did this challenge.

You forgot the Star Piece behind the stairs in the Pit's pipe room. This could allow for Quick Change + Peekaboo.

Bonetail: "WHY WON'T YOU DIE!??"
Mario: "Wahoo!" (Lucky Badge Dodge SFX)

I affectionately refer to the 5 Elite Wizzerd floor as; "The Boys"
As in "Me and The Boys out to make Pre Hooktail runs a living hell."

Funfact:
In the Remake when you die to Bonetail you are GIVEN the Option to respawn right in front of her again and redo the Fight

Pre-Hooktail sounds like one of those playground rumors that everyone attempts and believes it's true only to find out years later it was always a myth😭😭

It's almost like Nintendo realized the superguard timing window is a little too easy in the remake, so they compensated by making the timings visually unintuitive, causing many more misses for people's first playthrough.

11:50 "at one HP Koops' body becomes a machine that turns enemies into dead enemies"

This made me laugh way more than it should have holy shit

23:11 Omg the supergaurd timing for clefts in this game is SO ridiculous

koops after killing bonetail with mario and goombella grabs the tip of his tail and tells mario and goombella "lets go see hooktail" imagine the shock on hooktails face when you show up with parts of his brother "a much much stronger dragon" by koops and an italian.

27:38 i wonder if it was supposed to be "8, 8, 6, 6, 4, 4, 2, 2 etc" bc that would make more sense, and the 1 frame was just a bug but idk

congrats to Bonetail for transitioning

There is a 15th star piece you can get behind the stairs in the pit of 100 trials room.

I do like how the lower half of the pit gets new music compared to the first half. A nice touch to get rid of some of the repetitiveness of the music in the pit.
