This is Christopher Anthony Lunsford of Virginia. He chose to use Oliver Anthony in honor of his grandfather. This Youtube video/song (recorded by a radio station) touched a national nerve, topped the music listings and resulted in a recording contract offer, which Christopher turned down in order to remain independent. Yes, he has other (good) songs.
I cried too, dude. No worries my brother. Everyone can see that there is a flip side to the tear's that some shill or internet troll wants no part of. God bless.
You guys are a terrific couple. And remember, tears are never anything to be ashamed of because they flow from the heart. If you want to try a touching country song, react to the official video of Brooks and Dunn "Believe." Once you begin tuning in to country music, you'll find that it is, as they say, three chords and the truth -- real music, written and sung by real people.
Bro, that is a special woman. Yes, rich men north of Richmond is the rich men in DC. They want to control what you think, control what you do. Look out for miners (coal miners) not just minors on an island somewhere (epsiens minors on his island)
Crying is a natural reaction. I'm 65, and I cried the first 500 times I listened to it. In fact I cried watching your reaction. He really sang what everyone is thinking. Great reaction you two š
This song makes all Real Men, Fathers and Husbands cry because he is saying what we all think and want to say, but we just keep doing what we need to do to take care of ours. You are not the first and certainly will not be the last to get a bit emotional listening to this song. God Bless you brother, just keep doing what needs to be done, better days are ahead.
My brother, I had the same exact reaction the first time I listened to this song!! It resonates with a lot of us Americans these days. Appreciate the honest reaction yall!
Those tears were shared with the rest of us here to see your reaction. We feel the same way šā¤ļøResearch other reactions from other countries!!! They feel the same way and God Bless us all šā¤ļø
Great reaction! Tears flowed for a lot of us working stiffs out here.
Oliver Anthony had the first real impact on regular people to get mad at the legacy media for lying to us. He brought people from all kinds of backgrounds together. He did not do this song to chose sides in politics. He calls both sides out. But I think we all know which side of the aisle he leans, because that was the mandate sent by the people. He wanted working class to stick together and vote for change, which is what we did. Regular people have regular problems putting food on the table. All of those other issues are secondary to Americans. He made us feel important again.
