Chester: AAHHHHHH
Chris to Andy: Do the roar.

I need somebody who looks at me the same way Chris looks at Andy when he screams

Always so funny watching Chris lose his mind at Chester’s vocals for the thousandth time, he’s just like me fr 🥲

It’s almost more impressive that he  immediately belts out after that 17 sec scream.

I'm gonna cry. I miss Chesters voice.

Holy shit, when he did the "Miser-ey" pitch shift it was PERFECT. That is such a difficult transition to make, fuck. Amazing, Andy is a beast.

9:02 If I could just casually make this sound while sitting there hardly trying, I think I would never need to accomplish anything else in life lol

I honestly think Chester himself would have benefited from this.  He did wear out his voice over the years (based on the chronology of the many live videos I've watched).  I think the beauty of Chester is that he figured sooooo much of his voice through experimentation.  However, you are more susceptible to wear and tear doing it that way with a rigorous touring schedule like his.

"sings like an angel, but screams like a demon" the best way to describe Mr Chester

Chesters scream was so unique, what I generally love about Nu Metal artist screams is that they're all so dinstinct, it's screaming but you can always hear who's screaming, you still recognize the singer unlike Black Metal or Metalcore where it is all very technical and just very generic screams, shotus and growls they're all using. I can tell Corey Taylor, jonathan Davis, Chester Beinngton etc apart by their screams

Wow. Andy is crazy good at that Chester style scream. The way Chris was looking at him in awe was my reaction to most of Chris' videos on screaming, one day i'll crack it.

Found Andy randomly like 6 years ago via his vocal fry tutorial. I cannot believe he is not one of the biggest vocalists in multiple scenes. He's just so damn talented. Been following every single project he's done since

It's great to see people try to decipher Chester's vocals, and attempting to mimic it, when the fact of the matter is that Chester was doing this nonchalantly haha.

One day I will be able to sing this song! Thanks for the tips my friends.

Chester looked into it because he meant it. Chester didn't sing lyrics with those themes because it was edgy. He sang them because he felt them deeply.

@0:17 the fact that you can even cover that song speak massive volume to how much you've practiced. Sick skill.

Chester was a treasure and Andy is pure talent as well

"Alright do that, do the scream."
Andy immediately fucking nails this god-level scream on the exact pitch.

Andy sporting a Periphery t-shirt makes me proud.
