I think the son is the biggest victim of the show, I felt so bad for him in that last scene

I still keep thinking about how Rob was molding Louise into who he wanted her to be before he took her body. He got her to stop smoking, eat different and excercise. It's like preparing an animal for slaughter.

I literally felt so bad for her son at the end like

It’s the way they made me think David was the villain for like a few episodes . Then they said oops you thought it was David? No it’s Adele who’s not Adele. I also love how louise being black wasn’t her whole character. Louise should’ve just minded her business because damn😭 Adele’s door was locked like I tried I’m going to call the fire department not fricken project into the place

This show took a turn I never knew a show could take 😭

Adam (louise’s son) growing up without his actual Mom breaks my heart, imagine the trauma cause I know deep down he knows something is up

I was so used to blaming the white girl that I never even acknowledged why Rob had significant increase in screen time midseries.

The biggest victim for me was Louis's son, Adam 🥺💔...and I really enjoyed this review, you never disappoint

I believe a major plot in the script is also that david seems to be sapiosexual.. he falls for these women's minds but wont ever be happy since all these different women have robs mind.. so if there is to be a season 2 it will go down the same cycle where he slowly falls out of love and meets someone else with an extraordinary mind who will AGAIN be taken over by Rob 🤦🏾‍♂️🙆🏾‍♂️

Adam really did not deserve that at the end 😩 but I totally agree that David is also a victim like omg ! He’s been trying to figure out what was going and he still doesn’t knowww!!

Babes the REAL victim next to David is ADAM. That poor child

You really said David’s the biggest victim as if Adam/real Adele weren’t right there . . .

I honestly need to just sit down and have a conversation with the creator of this show because I NEED to know the thought process...

David just needs to practice the art of singleness 🙄

Louise should have lisened to her friend Sophie. Sophie actually tried to talk some sense to her, she was worried about Louise and very honest with her. This is what a good friend looks like, but unfortunately Louise cut her off, which was really sad.
Morale of the whole story:
Don't get involved with married people (I mean seriously: Even if they claim their relationship is dead and the marriage is as good as over but on paper it isn't: stay the hell out of other people's mess). Never get involved with your boss! Listen to your good friends, even if they say things you don't like. Trust and value those people you really know, not any random stanger because they"act friendly or are fun to be with.

thw most tragic part of this whole story is imagining how the spirit of a whiteman is going to maintain the natural hair of a black woman, her body will be in shambles in just two weeks chiileeeeeeeee

I don't know if it was jealousy and greed so much as just straight up psychological abuse. Rob is so deeply infatuated with David that he will do absolutely anything to have him. He gaslights and manipulates David and the people around him, attacking anyone he sees as a threat. David wasn't even interested in the cafe lady romantically but Rob still felt the need to break into that poor woman's home and threaten her. It was a deep-dive into the mind of a sociopathic abuser. The lesson of the story really is mind your business.

The subtle hints become very obvious the second time watching. Even the way Rob as Adele dresses is very different from the real Adele. And of course there was the journal. How would Adele have gotten Rob’s journal if it wasn’t really Rob all along? I’ve also heard there was a clue on the show poster. Obsessed with show. Hope there’s a second season!

Omg when Rob in Adeles body told David that not all addicts want to stop!!!

It was bizarre to realize Adele and Louise actually never met!
